We are located 10 minutes from the East Gate entrance to Algonquin Provincial Park that offers interpretive trails, museums and vast lakes and rivers for day or overnight canoeing trips. Algonquin Parks has much to offer and would encourage you to visit their website. The town of Whitney is about five minutes from our home. Amenities offered; restaurants, gas stations, Pharmacy, post office, grocery store, beer/liquor store, outfitters for canoe rentals and gift store. A beautiful sandy beach and children's playground are located in town.

The secluded cabin is close to a small, beautiful lake and surrounded by a forest. You’ll love the wood stove and screen porch. It is like a tiny house but there is no hydro, so the bathroom is an outhouse. You need a cooler and ice for your food. It has 3 burner stove top, no oven. You need to bring drinking water, candles and a flashlight. There are walking/snowshoe trails and a small lake for swimming and canoeing. You can also enjoy a farm tour.
