Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Barron County

Our stay was wonderful! It was a men’s weekend for fishing, grilling and time with God. Home was clean, filled with amenities we needed, close to the water and provided a peaceful place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to others! Monea was always responsive and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay! 5 stars, hands down!

Karie was so polite, and easy to talk to. A down right sweetheart!! She got back to me right away when I had questions, and she was open and honest with everything. The house was adorable and cozy!! Karie has it decorated in a way that took me back to a simpler time in life. Where I couldn’t help but feel relaxed, and want to just slow down and enjoy the time with my family!! The location was in a quiet part of the town which made sleeping so nice!! I would recommend this home to anyone who was staying in the Rice Lake area.

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

We had a lovely time in Chetek. The home was beautiful and unique. It was walking distance to several restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!

This home was absolutely perfect. Well kept, clean. We felt at home and our family members were able to relax during the weekend ofevents. it is a short 20 minute scenic drive to The Enchanted Barn where our daughter was married. We will definitely be keeping this home as our favorites when we travel to this area again since we do a lot of side-by-side too ! Tristan was absolutely fantastic to work with too !!

We had an excellent stay here. It is a beautiful lake house with great sleeping arrangements. It is located in a peaceful and quiet area 20-25 minutes outside of Rice Lake. I would highly recommend staying here for any event and I would love to come back here in the summer months!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was so quiet and peaceful. There is an eagle’s nest right across from the balcony and it was fun to watch the pair of eagles go about their day. The condo has everything you need from kitchen wares to toiletries. Rice Lake is a little under 30 minutes away and has a Walmart. Birchwood is much closer and they do have a Dollar General which is where we got most of our groceries. The grounds are beautiful. We did not utilize the pool/hot tub so I can’t speak on those. We would definitely stay here again!

The resort is located on a golf course. The condo was clean and spacious for a large group. One thing to note, although the condo overlooks the lake, there is no beach area to swim; we did find the public beach in Birchwood which worked fine for us in addition to the pool.

Was not too sure at first since I thought the music might keep me up but I rarely even heard it. Will stay again in the future.

We loved our stay here. It was so peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed being close to where my husband was working, and going to Iron's with some friends. The place was super comfortable and felt like home. Would definitely stay again!!

I loved Linda's place. I needed a home base to hike the Ice Age Trail. October is the perfect time and Linda's place is the perfect base. The Trail passes right in front of the resort. I enjoyed the pool and the hot tub after a long day of hiking. There are some great local restaurants. I will stay again.

Teri’s place was absolutely perfect! I used it to get ready for my wedding and it was such a gem. From the view of the lake to all of the rooms and bathrooms to get ready in it was exactly what we needed. The place was so big and clean. Teri and Lisa were great at providing the information that we needed. Tagalong has a lot to do as well and Birchwood is a beautiful place. Would absolutely stay here again.
