Vacation rentals in Bauta Abajo

Monte Canela was the perfect private getaway for my wife and I. We absolutely loved how remote and peaceful the area was and loved waking up to the scenic views of the Puerto Rican mountainous landscape. The house was equipped with everything that we needed and had some really nice personalized touches!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! We had 2 nights booked but only stayed one due to health issues. Research the way you drive up because one way up is a horror movie for anyone who is scared of heights or like my mother in law with vertigo. I personally loved the winding roads and ups/downs/hairpin turns. The road is extremely narrow with lots of holes. The second way was 100% less dangerous. Still worth it! We had to cut our stay short unfortunately because of her vertigo & kids asthma. Still worth it! I will stay here again with just my husband in the future! Highly recommended for a place to chill and relax. Expect rain overnight or at least condensation on everything. This has by far been my favorite place to Airbnb around the world!

I stood here with my family and wow. If you’re looking for a cozy peaceful stay with a marvelous view of the mountains this is the spot. We were able to get some delicious parcha from the tree out front. We enjoyed the jacuzzi. The host was wonderful to communicate with and very responsive and we would absolutely stay here again. The local food was delicious. Ten stars.

The place is actually better than the description. We loved that the place is far from everything and it’s very quiet. We felt very closed to nature. The views the green of the mountains, the water falls, the rain, the sound of the Coquis at night, the birds in the morning, the roosters singing in the morning, the bulls greeting us, the small lake, everything. The house is well maintained and well prepared with washer and dryer as a plus. I would recommend this place to all nature lovers. We even met the owner of the property, a great guy with a lots of stories to tell.

a beautiful place, clean cozy. coffee machine is not practical, there must be more privacy doors are in glass everything from inside. but very nice , clean.

Perfect spot for anyone looking to stay near Toro Verde for Zip lining. How’s was clean and very well kept. Plenty of space and everything we needed. We got a little lost with the GPS coordinates but Maria was on the phone right away and directed us.

Beautiful place. I really enjoy the family. 100% recommended. Puerto Rico is beautiful!
