“Jason’s place was exactly what I expected space and location-wise, but the experience provided here was more than I ever could have asked for. Jason took me around to places I never would have found or even known to look for on my own, and added in so many other Bajan experiences along the way. If you’d rather do your own thing, there is lots to explore around the area. I walked to watch sunrise every morning overlooking the ocean, and went for a run around the area and to Ragged Point Lighthouse (which also had great views). I didn’t try taking the bus/ZR vans around here, but enjoyed taking them on the west coast, and would be willing to try them (there’s always something to see/do while waiting). I would absolutely stay here again. Jason and his family are so wonderful to get to know, and I am so grateful to have met them.”
Far Away Villa is a quaint Barbadian beach house situated on the east of the island at Skeete's Bay St Philip, a stones throw away from Culpepper Island. A great family getaway!
“We loved staying at Faraway Villa. We were there for 11 nights with our two kids (10 and 8). The cottage has everything you need and an epic deck overlooking the bay with a lot of seating space, hammock, BBQ and a beautiful plunge pool. We had a car for the duration and found it very easy to make day trips to the renowned beaches or sights - most things are a 20-30 minute drive. There is a mall just 15 minutes away that has everything you need in terms of groceries. We loved starting and ending our days on that deck (and a few days just lounging), the sound of crashing waves, a cool breeze and away from the more touristy areas. The beach itself provides a nice view, and we enjoyed boogie boarding but be careful with younger tykes as there can be some good waves. There was a sargassum bloom about halfway through our trip and the beach filled up with weeds, but it didn’t stop us from boogie boarding or from enjoying the property in any way. Otherwise, Arron provides the towels you need and the kitchen has great amenities, just need to stock up on food. Hope to be back in the not too distant future!”
Enjoy a very serene country experience. This spacious accomodation comes with it's own kitchen and utensils to make your get away a relaxed experience. Tucked away in the quiet parish of st. John with fruit trees and beautiful swaying coconut trees...this small accomodation is air conditioned and very cozy.
