The studio apartment is located in Palmendorf Merligen. It is on the first floor with direct access to the garden seating and the car parking space. It has a double bed (160 × 200), narrow room with toilet/shower, satellite TV and Wi-Fi. A washing machine and dryer can be used by arrangement. All skiing and hiking areas of the Bernese Oberland are quickly and easily accessible by public transport or car. All water sports are possible. The landlords live on the upper floor and are there when you arrive.

The building use to be a wellness center for children after WWI & transformed more recently into apartments. Swiss nationals are often referred to this area to help them cleanse and relieve their respiratory challenges. Summer is full of activities, winter has superb & cheap ski options, Spring is bursting with flowers, & the Fall foliage against the mountains is unmatched.

We will welcome you in a small apartment in a 250 year old Swiss chalet. The apartment includes a bedroom with a boxspring bed, a sweet kitchen and a bathroom with a tub. Situated in Sigriswil, a lovely village looking down on the lake of Thun. A 20 minute drive from Interlaken or Thun. The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood, at night you will hear crickets, water from a spring and maybe some cowbells. Parking is no problem as we have a big parking lot.The tourist taxes are included.

Beatenberg vacation home

The chalet is very quiet thanks to a longer staircase (206 steps) leading away from the road. A wonderful view of the mountains and the lake awaits you. An excursion box, satellite TV, CD player, radio, and garden furniture are at your disposal. Because the neighborhood is very quiet, the place is suitable for people who appreciate peace and quiet. Not suitable for loud people, not suitable for parties! No Wi-Fi.
