I loved that Leecia was always kind and helpful with the communication prior to my arrival. I absolutely adore the fact that her smiling face was at her door to welcome me into her home, to me, that's the true spirit of Airbnb, people welcoming people. Nothing beats the warmth and security that a smiling kind human giving gives when you arrive. My suite was within 3 blocks of walking distance not to one, but 2 subway stations, I was connected to everything being so close to transportation. I felt secure at all times, even when I returned at midnight after a show downtown : ) The neighborhood was quiet and oh-so-pretty! Especially with autumn leaves all around us. There are all kinds of convenience stores just a few meters away and a great bakery that made my morning gloriously happy! The place had everything I needed and more. I stayed a month, and Leecia provided clean towels and bed linens when needed. I loved this place!

Ellie's place is a gem in Crown Heights. The apartment is very spacious, beautifully decorated and very clean. Bonus points for having access to a private backyard area. Ellie was very friendly and extremely communicative and prompt to respond to any questions that I had. There are two subway stations within a 10 minute walk of the apartment, multiple bus stops nearby and there is a citibike station right outside of the apartment. At check-in, he had stocked the fridge with multiple bottles of water and had left a welcome tray with snacks that was much appreciated. Thanks Ellie for being a great host!

Great stay! Would definitely book again. 3 train lines are a short walk away. Apartment felt safe and secure, clean, and comfortable. Bethany and Michael made themselves available if I needed anything, but gave me space and privacy. Very convenient to have a laundromat directly across the street. The vegan breakfast sandwich from Dolly’s (next to laundromat) is amazing.

The apartment has everything one needs. I loved how close it is to the subway (5 minutes) and that there are 2 rooms to live in. The wardrobe is spacious. Plus points for the rice cooker and washing machine + dryer. It was nice to have sound boxes in the living room and bedroom. It was clean. We felt very homey there. Would come back when I‘m in NYC the next time!!
