This yurt is made specifically to our needs in Mongolia and the furnishing and decoration in and around the yurt with love and passion gathered together. The bathroom is separate from the yurt but is accessible from a side door. Even in winter, the yurt is wonderfully warm and cozy, can be heated with a wood stove as well as with an electric stove. The yurt is draft and moisture free.

Energy-neutral cozy vacation home

Wooden cottage, self-built in 2020. Mostly with recycled material. There are no less than 20 solar panels on the cottage! The beams and the ridge have remained nicely in sight, which gives a spatial effect. A stable window from the farm where Karin was born has been incorporated into the ridge. The old yellow clinkers from that farm form the terrace, along with the tiles from the basement. As a surprise, husband made a heart in the terrace for Karin! All in all a nice place to stay

Keukenhof en bollenvelden in 10 minuten: sfeervolle en rustige vakantiewoning op groot, afgesloten privéterrein met dieren: paarden, honden en kat. Strand en zee, Amsterdam, Schiphol-Airport, Haarlem, Den Haag zijn allen binnen een half uur bereikbaar: zeer centraal gelegen. Vrije wandeling en fietspaden op aangrenzend gelegen natuurgebied van Staatsbosbeheer. Of u kunt genieten van de ondergaande zon aan het water, de Ringvaart. 2 fietsen staan klaar voor onze gasten.

In the middle of the bulb region, close to the train station, you can stay in our cozy basement with private access and parking. You can relax here! There are drinks in the fridge and a bottle of wine ready for you. There are many possibilities for cycling or hiking among the deer. The cities of Haarlem (10 min.), Leiden (12 min.) and Amsterdam (31 min.) are easily accessible by train. On request, I will be happy to prepare breakfast for you. (€30 for 2 people)
