We had a great stay! A fun surprise is that there are books everywhere, with notes to pay what you want if you want to take a book! This made for great downtime between our Detroit exploring, browsing through the books and reading. The kitchen had basic necessities, and the apartment was a clean and cozy space. There were a few nearby places to walk to: we enjoyed Norm's Diner less than a block away and had it been nicer weather I would have walked to the riverfront. Even though it's on a city street so you hear the bus driving by etc., we found it to be pretty quiet. Free parking in the back is convenient. Our exploring (Eastern Market, Belle Isle) was all about 10 mins drive away. I'd definitely return.
