Fantastic house right on the water! Pure idyll and tranquility! Villa is wonderfully cozy, generous and architecturally a feast for the eyes. Wellness is also not too short and the location in total is great to explore in North Holland by bike. Rarely experienced such a great holiday!

A really spacious, well equipped, and tastefully furnished and decorated family home. I wouldn't hesitate to rent it again.

Nienke and Jeroen (and of course their sweet cat Maui) are wonderful hosts. We immediately felt comfortable and were able to relax well from our many excursions to Alkmaar, Amsterdam, the coast and everything else. They have created a beautiful retreat in which we were allowed to stay. There was no free parking right around the house, but that didn't bother us at all. We unpacked our 7 things and our bikes and then simply put the car in the free P+R parking lot (about a 30-minute walk or 10 minutes by bike) and only picked it up again when we unfortunately had to leave again. All in all, 100% recommend.

The house with a large garden was perfect for us as it was in a quiet part and so ideal with a child. The house was fully furnished and nothing was missing, also cot, high chair... were available. You can rent bikes and have them delivered to the house. Of course, the location away from the beach is quick to reach on foot/bike/car and you can visit the dunes. Supermarket/bakery can be reached by bike in 5 minutes.

Super friendly hosts, the house was perfectly equipped and very clean, perfect for seaside vacation with kids, highly recommended!

This is our second time staying with Simon and Lianne and it was wonderful. Great hosts who went out of their way and communication was straightforward. We were personally welcomed by Lianne's mother who was very helpful. The house with garden is beautiful, you feel right at home. The location couldn't be better. Alkmaar is an enchanting city from which you can do many activities in the area. We can highly recommend the accommodation.

We had a great short break for three in this beautiful place in Bergen. The house is as beautiful as in the pictures - with fresh welcome flowers and helpful information about the area and possible activities. Miska gave us a quick introduction and was always available for questions. The location is very central, Bergen is quickly reached on foot and all shops serving daily needs as well. If the weather cooperates, there are many beautiful beaches close by. The beds are very comfortable and the small but fine house is the epitome of Dutch coziness and uses every corner sensibly and stylishly.

We enjoyed the stay 100%! Serge is the perfect host, accommodating, but always reserved, polite, friendly, helpful - we were just fulfilled every wish and nothing was missing in this luxurious, absolutely thoughtful place. High-quality appliances in the top equipped kitchen (salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, baking paper, aluminum& plastic wrap, etc.), cozy sofa & toilet, nice bathroom, it was nice and warm (in cool April). We were able to wash our laundry and also let it dry in the dryer. In front of the windows were screens, good blackout curtains in the bedroom and nice screen during the day. You can park right in front of the property in a large parking lot, the car is always in view from the living room & kitchen. We will be back! This accommodation was one beautiful unforgettable experience. After a long day on our feet in Keukenhof, we literally came to relax and relax at Yasmina's place. She personally greeted us, guided us through the entire apartment and a breathtaking terrace. Everything beautifully clean, scented, vibrant flowers in a vase, and more or more made our stay more enjoyable. A beautiful evening on the terrace, which relaxed and energized us for the next busy day in Amsterdam and after recommending both Yasmin and Zaanse Schans, where we had a beautiful day. Once again,a big thank you! Looking forward to seeing you again in a few years:)

It was a lovely stay with super nice and useful tips from the host! Mega helpful and easy to find if you needed something but also let you go completely and free. We have so much enjoyed this lovely place.

Marietta's house is located in the beautiful town of Muiderberg, from where we are completely uncomplicated to Amsterdam for three days. The house is very well maintained, surrounded by old trees and many detached villas. The apartment furnished, there were small welcome gifts such as chocolates, cheese and wine. Thank you for this. After sightseeing in the city, we ended the evening in Muiderberg on the beach. Have a great stay.

The apartment is small but nice has everything you need. Thildy and her husband are super friendly and helpful. We ordered breakfast the first day and it was delicious and sumptuous. Especially our little one was thrilled with all the great toys, the trampoline and the hammocks in the garden. The surrounding area is great for bike rides or trips to the beach and dunes. Washing machine and towels cost extra, which we are not used to from AirBnB. But all toys are free and Thyldi helped us on a private issue, which was very kind. We had a really nice and relaxing time there!

Place was great for our family, clean, tidy and kitchen has everything we need for. Keukenhof is 10 minutes drive, Amsterdam short train ride away. There is parking front of the building. Beds are comfortable no complains. bathroom was spotless clean. Highly recommended Mark's place. He was so helpful and answers every message so prompt as well. Thank you Mark.

Great place, very close to the city, museums etc yet very private and in deep nature . We really enjoyed our time and would recommend the place for everyone seeking privacy, calmness, nature and a bit of adventure.

Lovely cabin in a beautiful location. The house was clean, tidy and comfortable with everything provided that we could need to cater for ourselves. Bathroom was well stocked and the shower was hot with good pressure. Nice private garden with fire pit was great for toasting marshmallows. Neighbourhood was really quiet and peaceful, extremely green (it feels like you are in the woods) but close to plenty of amenities. Has a very family friendly vibe. Short walk to the shops/supermarket etc. and even closer to the woods/lakes etc. Lots of good outdoor routes to explore. Adva was great with some walking recommendations. 20-30 mins drive to Utrecht and Amsterdam so easy to dip in for a restaurant etc. although there are some good local restaurants which Adva can also fill you in on. Adva in general was a brilliant host, responsive, helpful and thoughtful. Kid loved it, dog loved it, adults loved it, would highly recommend!

Great house in quiet surroundings with very likeable hosts. We felt very comfortable and enjoyed the surroundings. We will be happy to stay here again if we visit North Holland.

We had the most wonderful stay in this charming cabin nestled on the property of a windmill in Alkmaar. From the moment we arrived, our hosts Kelly and Han made us feel completely at home. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect—so kind, welcoming, and full of great local tips. The cabin itself is a dream—coziness taken to the next level. Every detail was thoughtfully put together, and it was the perfect place to unwind to relax. Waking up next to a windmill felt like something out of a fairytale. Alkmaar itself is a beautiful village full of history, with adorable shops and restaurants to explore. The charming canals add to the magical atmosphere, and it’s easy to hop on a train to Amsterdam for a day trip. We’re already dreaming of our return and feel so lucky to have made such lovely new friends in Kelly and Han. Highly recommend this magical spot to anyone visiting The Netherlands!

We absolutely loved our stay, the air bnb itself is lovely with a lovely garden for our little dog. We came for tulip season so it was a great base to see the tulips, cycle round Kinderdijk, visit Gouda, and go for walks on the beach. The apartment has everything you need and the hosts and their dog are lovely and very responsive

Loved staying at Danielle’s cabin. She’s a great host and goes above and beyond to make your stay worth it. Beautiful walks all around and a beautiful little town in its self. Would highly recommend for a solo or couple get away and I would definitely stay here again! 5* All around!
