Located close to the centre of the pretty village of Burley. The New Forest is also famous for its ponies, Walkers and cyclists will also love the many trails that take you from Burley to several other great places in the New Forest. We also have Loch Awe Boathouses in Oban Scotland.
“We had a fantastic stay at The Loft for my fiancé’s birthday - thank you for having us! It’s so beautiful, peaceful, comfortable and clean... the best rural retreat. The pony’s, cows, horses and donkeys right out the house is so beautiful and we felt a million miles away from our London life. Check in and out was super easy, and Shelly and Simons nice touches of tasty biscuits, chocolate and milk was much appreciated! The freestanding bath is amazing and adds to the cosy rural retreat - much needed after taking the bikes out for a few hours. Oh and that bed.... Such a good nights sleep!Thank you again for a great stay! Laura and Rob”
Twit Twoo is named because of the sound of the owls hooting at night outside the window. Tucked away down a gravel track with direct Forest access Twit Twoo is guaranteed to take you away from the pressures of life. Relax in the three seating areas: decking, bbq area or on the bench overlooking the picturesque babbling Brook with a cup of tea or glass of wine. The only distraction is the wildlife. Dog friendly, ideal for cyclists with the wonders of the forest and coast on the doorstep.
“We had a lovely stay at the chalet. It really is much bigger inside than it seems in the photos. Everything was clean and nicely presented. We really enjoyed the little touches such as the cakes, milk, butter and rolls waiting for us when we arrived. We were made to feel very welcome and the hosts were friendly but not intrusive at all. The bed was really comfortable and a luxurious large dog bed was provided for the dog. Our little dog loved it and the treats that were provided. Pandora the owner's friendly spaniel greeted us outside. The garden is enclosed with outside seating which we would've made use of in warmer weather. There's a path down to a stream at the end of the garden, lots of frogs were out at night which was great to see! There's a bird feeder in the garden which was frequented by many species of bird, the birdsong is the only sound you will wake up to in the morning. Walks into the new forest directly from the doorstep, we had a great time and it's a perfect place for someone with a dog (or without!).”
The Barn is a delightful studio apartment, situated next to our family home in the quaint village of Burley, New Forest. Recently refurbished, the barn features an open plan living, kitchen and sleeping area with its own private entrance and small outside space with eating area and space for a BBQ. It is a truly fantastic base for you to enjoy what the national park has to offer; including walking, bike riding, horse riding, or exploring the beaches of the south coast.
“We have been looking for a nice airbnb within walking distance of both countryside and pubs, without traffic noise and close to a list of interesting things to do, and Emily's place delivers on all of these 100%. Clean, wholesome, cosy, quiet, with everything you might need for a few days in the New Forest. The wifi was great and the bed and sofa comfortable, the kitchen worked really well and the space is bigger than it looks in the photos. Having a smart TV was an added bonus for darker spring evenings. The view pictured is less than a minute's walk through trees opposite, and is absolutely stunning. There are also hiking and cycling trails accessible directly from the property. Situated about a mile down a track, you are right in the woodland, but with very quick access to the village of Burley. Emily and her family were on hand and incredibly friendly and helpful, but the space also felt private and an independent unit. With the heathland, the forest, the coast, some interesting cities and the Isle of Wight all within an easy drive, we wished we have been there for a week rather than a couple of nights and hope to be back as soon as possible.”
