A cozy cabin in the hills of northern rural Pennsylvania. Located approximately 18 miles north of Coudersport and 9 miles from Shinglehouse.
“My buddy and I were fishing the area and this was a quaint and nice size cabin in the middle of nowhere which was exactly what we wanted. The owner has a creamery nearby and brought us some homemade ice cream. It was a nice addition since during the Covid outbreak nothing was open. Loved sitting on the back deck and listening to the bullfrog out back. I was happy when he found a date right about bedtime. There were also geese, ginny hens, ducks and other wildlife around the area. The owners dog even came over for a visit. We had a great time. Karl was an excellent host.”

“Richard was a gracious host who accepted my very last minute reservation. I was quite comfortable during my brief stay. The complimentary snacks/wine were also appreciated! I highly recommend staying here if you are visiting any of the many local attractions.”
Rustic cabin on 7 acres in the heart of Potter County where visitors can relax and get away from it all! Surrounded by forest, wildlife is abundant here and deer, bear, turkeys, porcupines and even fishers and bobcats can be seen. Excellent trout fishing (Southwoods branch <1 mile); star-gazing at Cherry Springs State Park (17 miles); Lumber Museum, Lyman Run State Park and Lyman Lake (15 miles).
“We really enjoyed our recent stay at Kristi's Rustic Cabin. It was very private in a nice wooded setting - a true taste of wilderness living! Loved sitting on the swing on the covered porch listening to and watching the rain one day. The cabin was clean and we appreciated the well appointed kitchen, and shower amenities. Kristi's mom, Dayle, was very helpful with getting acquainted with the cabin and with local spots to try out (Be sure to grab a meal at Olga's!). The main focus of our visit was the dark sky stargazing at nearby Cherry Springs State Park, and we were not disappointed. Lots of beautiful scenery in this area. We were also impressed by the fact that the cabin was built from scratch by Kristi's parents - great workmanship when you really looked around!”
