We loved our stay in Greta’s apartment. It’s a self-contained apartment on the first floor; it’s about 15 minutes on the bus into the centre of Bayreuth, and around 30 mins to the Festspielhaus. (We walked back from the Festspielhaus one evening which took about 1.5 hours - a nice walk). There’s a good supermarket with an excellent bakery attached to it about 5-10 mins walk away. The apartment is very comfortable, clean and peaceful - with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony. While my friend was in the main bedroom, I slept in the work room on the sofa bed - which was comfortable and cosy so is a great second bedroom. There was coffee, tea, chocolate and a bottle of wine when we arrived which was a nice touch. Greta was very kind, even giving us lifts to the theatre and to the train station. She has a genuine warmth and it was a pleasure to meet her, and to stay in her apartment. Highly recommended!

We stayed at the turn of the year. The location requires a car. The closer and wider area has plenty to offer especially for hiking enthusiasts. The apartment is rustically cozy. However, you should be good to walk due to the steep stairs. The kitchen equipment (dishes/cutlery) was a bit spartan. We would have liked a little more. As it is a courtyard, we were initially mistaken around looking for the key safe. But since we were sighted right away, the problem was quick to fix. Parking is easily possible. Very good shopping facilities are available in the neighboring village of Erbendorf.

The apartment was clean, big and the view from the dining table was very nice.

I myself was not a guest of Helene's, but a good friend with a companion who could not book themselves due to their advanced age. Both were thrilled with the place. I myself was positively impressed by the speed of Helene's answers and I am especially grateful that a booking was possible for my friend and her companion and worked so easily.

We felt very comfortable. A lovingly renovated house in a beautiful little place with a great hostess. The different levels in the garden offer many possibilities. Downstairs terrace, barbecue area, upstairs the roof for sports and rock climbing, the sundeck. Hiking directly from the house. As a quick reader, I have also devoured the exciting book written by Tanja. Thank you so much for making it so beautiful to your guests!

We had booked both apartments to walk the 5 Seidla Steig. Christine was there herself for a short time and was able to give us tips. Very pleasant and easy going👍🏼. The apartment probably newly renovated, bright, clean and nicely furnished. You could move in right away. Top kitchen and amenities. Great view and large balcony. Even with climbing wall that we also tested. The price is unbeatable compared to surrounding pensions. This was also one of the few ways to accommodate our friend group with 10 people together in the area. Now even 12 people are leaving. We were all able to have breakfast together, as there are large tables, enough space and also enough dishes. It was just great and everyone enjoyed it. If we go hiking there again, we will be happy to come back. Thank you very much Christine

Jan's apartment was impeccable. We've been there for the second time now and like last time Jan was very helpful and we love the area! Thank you! We will definitely be back! small tip: a trip to the Ochsenkopf is highly recommended! With the gondola up and down a beautiful area. From the middle station you can jet into the valley with cool bikes (important! solve ticket beforehand!)

Denise's apartment is very centrally located and nicely cozy . I was there alone, but if all 4 beds were occupied, it would still not be too tight . Communication was nice and always timely . Check-in with nice personal key service . Very eager and friendly. I'd love to come back again again !

The apartment is really stellar!! Beautiful surroundings wonderful hosts and great proximity to everywhere! I was visiting my son in Vilseck and the location couldnt have been more perfect. Simone was very accommodating and the apartment is perfection, quiet and comfortable=)

If you want a little break from stressful everyday life, this is the place to be. Mr. Ulm is very friendly and helpful and you can tell that he and his wife have given a lot of thought to make your stay as pleasant and relaxing as possible. Here is especially the "mini supermarket" where you can find everything you need for a short break (e.g. hot rolls, noodles, coffee, etc.). Even if you don't feel like cooking yourself, there are catering dishes from a local catering company that can be easily prepared in the oven and taste great, without any artificial ingredients. In addition to the living area, there is the separate spa area. Here, too, there is a lot of love for detail such as homemade scrubs and sauna infusions, so you can spend some relaxing hours here. All in all, we enjoyed it very much and we will definitely be back.

Wonderful apartment in Bad Elster. Perfect location - walking distance to parks and bakery, surrounded by forest with beautiful starry skies at night. Me, my boyfriend and our 4 year old daughter are staying with Sylvia for one night. We immediately felt at home and slept very well. The small DG apartment was lovingly furnished and very quiet. Our daughter felt very comfortable in the children's corner with games. Sylvia was a nice and gracious host and kindly supported us with late check-in. We can highly recommend their cozy place.
