By car, the popular excursion destinations Wasserkuppe and Milseburg can be reached in approx. 10 minutes. At 950 m, the Wasserkuppe is the highest mountain in Hesse and offers a wide range of leisure activities for the whole family (skiing, sailing and paragliding, summer toboggan run, climbing forest, etc.).

From the windows to the courtyard, the border mountains to Lower Franconia can be seen, e.g. Dammersfeld, Beilstein and Eierhauck. From here, many well-known excursion destinations can be quickly reached. For example, Wasserkuppe, Kreuzberg, Fulda, Bad Neustadt or Würzburg, as well as hiking and bike trails. Horseback riding is possible in the neighboring village.

The cottage was newly renovated & stylishly furnished in 2022 and is located in the middle of the Haselbach holiday park. On beautiful days, you can look forward to a view from the house up to 100 km into the distance - in any case, here you have a great view of the Kreuzberg - exit "Kanonenrohr". You also have direct view of the Kreuzbergschanze from our terrace. (Skisprungschanze Kreuzberg- Haselbach) and a footpath of about 15 minutes leads directly there.

You will stay in a side alley in a mini-apartment renovated in 2021 and sleep very quietly under the green canopy. Enjoy the very well-equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. Our aim is to welcome guests with a dog as well as the ones without into a friendly, cosy atmosphere. The appartment is at the edge of Oberelsbach - ideally for hikes. Basic shopping is possible and there is a nice café, a gas station and a pharmacy. Hiking and Cycling trails start directly from the house. But also there are bus lines which opperate in different directions as well as right into the heart of the hiking area.

Pure nature! The idyllic town of Bischofsheim is located directly on the Lower Franconian Rhön Biosphere Reserve at the foot of the Kreuzberg. Adjacent to fields and meadows is our vacation home, which invites you to relaxing days or active hiking, mountain biking, skiing days. With a magnificent view of Finkelberg and Kreuzberg, you can relax. Simply feel good on the covered terrace and listen to the calls of the red kite.

On 86 m² you will find a bright, modern non-smoking apartment with comfort equipment on the ground floor. 1 double bedroom, 1 bedroom with sofa bed, living room with and sofa bed. Fully equipped kitchen, fridge with freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, bathroom with shower, toilet. The apartment has a balcony with barbecue. Our apartment offers accommodation for 4 persons. No smoking or pets allowed in the apartment.

Enjoy a few days in the beautiful Bavarian Rhön Mountains! The stream, right under the balcony, gives this apartment the touch of a small Rhön Venice, which also gave the apartment its name "Rhönedig." The beautiful Rhön is ideal for relaxing, unwinding, hiking, romantic walks, mountain bike tours, winter sports and great excursions in the area. The apartment is completely new and is currently being completed.

Vacation home with sauna

We moved from the city to an old farm in 2016 and live here together with our dog Dago and three cats in the middle of Schwarzenfels, a municipality of the city of Sinntal, below the beautiful Schwarzenfels Castle. We are gradually renovating the farm. In 2020, our "vacation home" project was completed and we are looking forward to our guests.
