Rade is located on the direct border to Hamburg between Nordheide and Altes Land on the southern city border to Hamburg. In 15 minutes you can be in Hamburg City via the A1. Rade belongs to the Neu Wulmstorf administrative union in the district of Harburg. Rade has its own motorway exit and entrance, making it easy to find the motorway exit even for those unfamiliar with the area. The proximity to the Stuvenwald, which is partly already part of Hamburg, gives the place its rural character,

The accommodation is located in a quiet residential area with very good connections: the S-Bahn is an 8-minute walk away and leads directly to the most important sights. The city centre and harbour can be reached by car in just 10 minutes. Parking spaces are not on the property, but are available free of charge and for an unlimited time on the roundabout directly in front of the house. A retreat surrounded by nature

The "Honigspeicher" is an old wooden house that has stood on this site for over 240 years. It is a place steeped in history, located in the heart of the tiny village of Hartböhn. The house was completely renovated in 2024 and features a tastefully furnished and comfortable living area for two people with a garden and two terraces. It offers plenty of peace and space. Active guests can walk, cycle and explore the beautiful Lüneburg Heath to their heart's content.

Bispingen offers many leisure activities such as the ski hall, the go-kart track and cycling and hiking trails through the Lüneburg Heath. Heide Park Soltau is only a 20-minute drive away.

Are you looking for a special kind of forest experience? Enjoy a stay in our idyllic and fully equipped holiday home in the south of the Lüneburg Heath. Whether you're taking long walks or bike rides, enjoying coffee and cake on the terrace or having a barbecue on the fire pit, it's up to you. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.

The town center with shops is within walking distance in max. 10 minutes. Studio (approx. 30 m²) with private entrance, double bed (1.40 m), single bed (0.90 m) and private bathroom. The dining area with fridge, kettle, toaster, dishes and cutlery. Please smoke in an extra "smoking lounge." In the neighborhood there is a company that can provide "acoustic impressions" during the week between 7 am and 4:30 pm.

Former bakery

The former bakery in Schweringen was completely renovated as a guest house in 2019 and now offers 2 rooms (1 room with a double bed, 1.40 wide and 1 room with 2 single beds, 90 cm wide) with a shared living room, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The Weser ferry and the Weser cycle path are right outside the door. Schweringen and the beautiful surroundings invite you to take long walks and bike rides.

Slowing down in the Lüneburg Heath

If you really want to slow down and relax, then you are in the right place in our guesthouse in the countryside. Located in the middle of a large, beautifully landscaped garden, you have a small cottage all to yourself. With the best views of the countryside and nature pure all around from every window and right outside the front door. Up to 4 people have enough space in the spacious 2 bedroom apartment.

Bread service and bike rental available on request. Very good transport connections to Bremen and Hamburg. Excursions to Altes Land, Lüneburg Heath and the Teufelsmoor. Our holiday home at the Powder Creek is located in a very quiet street directly on the forest. It has about 90 sqm. You will find a terrace and a garden at the property. The bus stop with direct connections to Hamburg is only five minutes away. The Heide and the Heidschnuckenweg are also very close by. For your bike there is a covered parking space that is not visible, right by the front door.
