Monthly Rentals in Bizen

I loved my stay at Tatsuya’s home. I was here for two nights and am hoping to come back in the future. It is a bit remote, but if you’re looking for that, this is an ideal spot. The place is cared for and renovated by tatsuya himself and that shows in the details of the space. They were responsive and helpful and did everything they could do accommodate me.

The house reflects a traditional Japanese aesthetic and is located in a small, peaceful fishing hamlet. It offers non-Japanese visitors in particular an experiential glimpse into the everyday living environment of Japanese households from the post-WWII era, but with a few strategic updates that help ensure a restful stay. The kitchen is well-equipped and even includes a blender and seed grinder—rarities in Japan. There is an air conditioner/heater and an air purifier. There’s also a small yard and garden area where you can laze away the mornings over a cuppa and a good book. Anshang-sensei is a polite, professional, responsive, friendly, insightful, and helpful host and property manager. The property is strictly for guests staying there, and yet she seamlessly answers questions and helps solve problems as if she were right there with you. Wi-Fi is sufficient and stable. Were we to return to the island, we would stay here again. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Ran san is a very friendly host. She welcomed us with smiles and was always there when we need her help.
