I have spent quite a lot of time looking for a perfect accommodation for my family in the Bergen area. The time was very well invested! Erlend’s house is a wonderful place. Perfect for family with kids, people who would like to have both, the closeness to a very nice city and the nature. And for persons who love cats. Roses, the cat of the family is amazing. We were there without a car, it is doable if you do not have overly ambitious plans for your activities. Erlend is an extremely helpful and accommodating host and reacts quickly. We can absolutely recommend this accommodation.

A hidden gem, the kind of place you don’t want to write a review about, to make jt. carefully kept secret. Hosts were nice; very kind and relaxed. Breakfast was awesome.

We (family with three youngsters) really enjoyed the bright and cozy townhouse. Everything was clean and tidy and the host had cleared space for our things in the hallway, in the kitchen, bathroom and in the bedrooms. Appreciated that! We were lucky with the weather and were able to enjoy the morning sun in front of the house and the afternoon/evening sun on the balcony or in the garden. In all of these places there was cozy seating. The light rail is just a short walk away and makes it easy to travel around. The host was attentive and friendly and had made a written record of the most common FAQs. It meant that we quickly and easily found answers to things we were wondering about :-) We would be happy to come back another time!

The house is located directly on the water with many opportunities to sit, bathe and be easy. The view of the water from the living room is simply fantastic. The house is spacious and quickly becomes a place to feel good. The ferry and supermarket are easily accessible. Guri was a great host and showed me everything in person. I'll be happy to come back 😊

Choose a cozy place, nice view. had what I needed of amenities and equipment. Could have had a microwave, otherwise everything was tip-top.

It was a pleasant stay at Trine’s place. The apartment was spacious, convenient (close to the bus station), and clean. Trine was also very kind and responsive, and always cater to our needs. We enjoyed our stay there a lot!

The apartment is very nice, you have a beautiful garden overlooking the sunset! Everything was very clean and communication was impeccable.

Our stay was fine, recommended, beautiful views, good parking and shops nearby. Public transportation so to speak around the corner. Giant friendly couple and helpful. Opportunity to wash on request. Dishwasher. Please note for the disabled there is a wide staircase with good handrail to apartment. But not accessible to wheelchair users. We will definitely be up for another stay. Me and my wife had a great time, we were warmly welcomed at the property and shown around and explained everything we need to do and what was available. They explained the history of the location and what to visit, they had a wealth of knowledge of the area. It is place I would recommend to anyone wanting to visit the place. Thank you for a fantastic time.

We had been passing through and were impressed by the surroundings. Behind the house is a small waterfall, because we looked at it. The communication with the host was really great. The view was fantastic.

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful home with breathtaking views of Bergen and the surrounding mountains. Waking up to the sight of the city and fjords was a highlight of our trip. The location was perfect, close enough to explore Bergen easily yet in a peaceful spot where we could relax and take in the scenery. The large windows and outdoor space allowed us to fully appreciate the stunning panoramic views, especially at sunset. The home was spotless with cozy furnishings and all the amenities we needed. Our hosts were incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything for a perfect stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Bergen, staying here made our trip even more special and we would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay in Ivar’s home! A lovely home with spectacular views across the lake. There is a regular bus into Bergen and lots to do in this beautiful city.

Wonderful location in the heart of Bergen - perfect for waking to just about anything. Kristin was helpful and responsive and we had a wonderful stay!

We had an excellent stay in Liv's family home. The location of the house is great, with a view of the fjord from the living room and from the (large) garden - even in the summer you could see part of the folgefonna glacier across the lake. Oystese and surrounding area offer plenty of things to do in summer: we went swimming (in the fjord, or indoors when it was raining), hiking, and we visited some very nice local points of interest (maritime museum, etc). The house is spacious and had everything we needed. You can tell Live and her family have invested significantly in the house and the garden. We appreciated the well-equipped kitchen and fresh raspberries from the garden. Our 2-year-old daughter loved the Moomin themed bedroom and all the available toys. Communication with Liv was smooth. Beautiful home with a gorgeous view. The home comfortably housed two families of eight totsl and all of the amenities were like the photos. They even startee up the hot tub early for us. Great stay.
