COUNTRY GUESTHOUSE: Looking for a quiet get away in a country environment close to the Black Hills, Ellsworth Airforce Base, the Event Center and Regional Airport in Rapid City? We are near several attractions including Mt. Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Badlands, plus many more. We also have several animals on our property including horses, dogs, cats and wildlife such as antelope. It involves a private entrance with a rustic atmosphere and open concept with all modern amenities.

Looking for something off the beaten path to enjoy some peace/quiet? We’re just that, tucked away in the beautiful Black Hills only 30min from Rapid City & several favorite attractions: Mt Rushmore, Reptile Gardens, Bear Country, Needles Highway, Rushmore Caves + many more. Our property has opportunity to see lots of wildlife(deer & turkeys) + our own animals: horse, pony, 2 mini cows, 4 goats, 2 dogs & 2 cats. Walk/runners take advantage of the gravel/paved roads for a leisurely stroll.

Country Lodge ~Where the Prairie Meets the Pines

Our space started as my husbands "man cave." A place to display his hunting accomplishments and do all things manly. Yet, as the project progressed it turned into a lovely rustic lodge that we'd like to share with you. Just 5 miles North of Sturgis we provide a space that is minutes away from Bear Butte State park, the beautiful Black Hills and sits on a quiet valley acreage. It would be ideal for anyone visiting the area who enjoys fresh country air and a bit of rustic charm.

Carriage House - Walk to Moccasin Spa

This Carriage House is in the heart of downtown Hot Springs & across the street from Moccasin Hot Springs Spa. Our yellow victorian home sits high on a hill which creates a feeling of privacy. The home was built in 1889 before the road, electricity or plumbing. The Carriage House, where guests stay, was used by Charles Hargans Jr , a Saturday Post artist. We made it the cozy place it is today. We offer a clean & comfortable stay in our historic sandstone town!

Our Guesthouse

Our guesthouse is a one bedroom, one bath get away with room to breathe! Sleeps 8, with a newly added loft including 2 full sized beds, a pull out bed in the sectional of the spacious living room and a king sized bed in the bright and sunny private master bedroom. Internet is unreliable, encouraging you to put down your phone and simply relax. TV with DVD player available-no cable. AC and forced air heat. Grill and fire pit available! We look forward to your visit!

Adorable loft carriage house with hot tub

This is the original carriage house from 1892 that has been converted into living quarters with a small fenced in outdoor space. The cozy cottage is made up of two levels. On the floor level, is a small kitchen, bathroom, and sitting area with gas fire place (love seat pulls out to a single bed). On the second level, via a narrow steep hayloft staircase, is a king bed, tv, and private balcony. This quaint space is the perfect get away.

In the Heart of Rapid City

Home was built in 1916 and the bottom level has been remodeled to a super cute apartment. There are tenants above, and if they are home, you WILL hear them. Quiet hours are from 10pm-7am. Location is in mid-town Rapid City and is within walking distance to downtown and some really great restaurants, shopping, bars, and Main Street Square.
