This location is perfect for a long term stay as the grocery mall is across the street. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk. The train station can be reached by the bus or an easy 20 minute walk. I could go anywhere from the train station. Amsterdam is easily accessible. Gouda is a quaint town with a super fun Market on Thursdays. Nicks flat was very comfortable and had all you need available for preparing meals. The shower is great and the hot tub was a great feature. Nick was always responsive and a real easy going guy. He placed no heavy cleaning burdens on me, just asked to make sure the place was left tidy and in order. The cats are no problem at all. They were nice to have around. I felt very comfortable, safe, and at home. The air conditioned Master Room was appreciated and the bed was very comfortable. There are plenty of linens, both for the beds and the bathroom. I would definitely stay again.

Accommodation was clean and spotless with the decor and furniture in good modern taste. Dianne and husband were very friendly and helpful when it came to asking questions about the accommodation and the local area. Always willing to help. The location was fantastic, in car we drove to: Amsterdam 45 minutes Rotterdam 30 minutes Keukenhof 35 minutes The accommodation is set in the middle of beautiful surroundings with cows and goats in the fields, birds in the trees and fish in the rivers. We should have taken our fishing rods as the river flows next to the garden or a kayak even! 10/10

Die Unterkunft auf dem Grundstück von Jurian und seiner Familie ist sehr nett, rustikal und gemütlich. Auf kleinem Raum findet man alles notwendige um einige Tage zu bleiben. Restaurants und Ausflugsziele sind innerhalb weniger Minuten erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.

This place is really nice. Beautiful house and surroundings! The pets (chickens and rabbits) are trustful and sweet. Contact to the owners was nice, fast and friendly and got a big list of how everything works and recommendations for activities. We really liked the stay and cannot find anything bad about it. Big recommendation!

Som una família de Barcelona amb 2 nens de 9 i 11 anys i, la veritat, gaudir de la casa de la Mirjam per poder explorar els Països Baixos ha estat realment increïble. La ubicació és preciosa i compta amb tot el necessari per sentir-se com a casa. A més Gouda és un molt bon punt per fer totes les rutes. La recomanem sense cap dubte!

Kurz meine Eindrücke aus der Unterkunft: - sehr schöne Umgebung - Unterkunft entspricht der Beschreibung - Modernisiertes und geräumiges Haus - Ganzes Haus für sich alleine (Besitzer wohnen im Nachbarhaus) - Bahngleisen sind in der Nähe (ca. 30m) - Hühner leben auf dem Grundstück - Gesellschaftsspiele sind vorhanden - Kein Backofen und keine Mikrowelle vorhanden

Frans and his wife Dianne were very hospitable and friendly hosts. The location was picturesque with a fantastic lake view. Very quiet and calm place for anyone wanting to relax and unwind

This was a perfect home stay for our Netherlands tour. The home was a base location for us to travel daily to various sight seeing places around like Kinderdijk, Keukenhof, Rotterdam, Amsterdam and Giethoorn, all with a travel time of around an hour. Rogier was very friendly and responsive. The home itself was very clean like in the pictures and we had a great experience. There are on street car parking spots right in front of the house and on the side roads. There was also a jumbo supermarket at 3 mins drive. I strongly recommend.
