If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you would need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad you have panoramic views to the natural elements from the inside.

There are a big and nice terrace to the sea Access to firewood on site and for warmth, coziness and cosiness in the evenings. Exterior glass pavilion with sofa group and gas fired "flame table" There is a great setting for kayak trips and kayak is included.

Stay in newly remodeled Community School

Idyllic Storvik is a small village at the end of Nordland coast in the middle of Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are oceans, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old grend school that we in our family have converted into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very light, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you would rather relax on the beach and enjoy nature in the distance it is fully possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

Take it easy at this unique, tranquil and modern getaway. Here you can experience the midnight sun in the summer, or the northern lights in the winter months. Distance to city center is approx. 7 minutes by car. There are many shops, cafes, restaurants and shopping centers. The house by the sea is located about 250 m from the bus stop. Distances: 7 km Bodø city center, 25 km to Kjerringøy, 35 km to Saltstraumen, 5 km to golf course, 6 km to ferry terminal Lofoten, 6 km to train station. Not suitable for people with disabilities.

Cozy newly renovated cabin in idyllic Valnes. Good standard. Sleeps 9 in total. 🏡 Road all the way to the stairs. The cabin is located just 10 minutes from Saltstraumen and about 30 minutes away from Bodø. In Saltstraumen there are possibilities to shop for groceries, fishing and more. Here you have many nice hiking areas in the immediate vicinity, Valnesfossen is one of several nice places you can visit. Valnesvannet only a few minutes away, here you will find good fishing grounds, swimming areas and beaches. 🏡😊

Large cabin with lovely views, boat and sauna

We welcome open-air guests to our great cabin in Holmsundfjorden in Gildeskål, 1 hour drive south from Bodø. The cabin is idyllic and undisturbed all the way down by the sea. The cabin has a boathouse with a 14 foot boat with 10 HP outboard motor. The cabin also has a great, private sauna tub all the way down by the water, and an outdoor jacuzzi (this is new from July 2025). Formidable hiking and fishing opportunities await you in Gildeskål, and we are happy to suggest top tours and smaller family trips for you.

There is boat space to the sea house and a charming quiet beach 100 meters from the front door. The harbour is beautifully located and well protected by small islands overlooking Lofoten and Landegode. Bodø town is only 15 minutes from the harbour with all its offers of restaurants, shopping and sightseeing. It is also a great starting point for other great day trips such as to Saltstraumen and Svartisen.

Saltstraumen Villa - In the middle of the straum

The house is located in the middle of the Salt Stream, with panoramic views to the entire bridge and the most fascinating formations of the ocean. Walking wildlife right outside the window. On the barley you can fish right into the pot while enjoying the sun and the fresh air. The long table in the upper living room invites you to cozy dinners with a rare view from all sides of the table. The kitchen on the upper floor is airy, well-equipped and invites for cooking.

Arctic Kramer to Enjoy, Silence and take it easy

A nice quiet quiet spacious cabin. In the sanitary room at the back of the house is the guest bathroom with shower and toilet. There is possibility to cook an easy meal, and more. Godøynes has everything for walks to the beach, in the woods, and to views. but a visit to Saltstraumen at 5 km. is also worthwhile, or a visit to the town of Bodø 15 km. The easiest way to get to us is by car, bicycle or on foot. Any public transport is at 500m. Welcome!

Sigurdbrygga -Seahouse with view to eagles

Restored and charming seahouse from 1965. Brightly decorated house of 35 m2, with 2 small bedrooms on the loft. Living room has a dining area and a reading area. Modern kitchen with dishwasher, fridge / freezer, and bathroom with toilet and shower. Outside area with garden furniture and campfire pan. Yacuzzi can be rented for an extra fee on 600,- for a weekend or 800,- by the week.
