Monthly Rentals in Bon Air

I’m so happy I found Merry’s location available for the time frame I needed. It’s so peaceful, and I love being surrounded by nature. Hearing the birds while sitting outside made the experience even more amazing.

A beautiful home in an amazing setting. The house is wonderfully appointed inside and out. The beds are comfy and the entire place was squeaky clean. The kitchen had everything I needed. Outside, there are three amazing places to relax in nature. First, the house has an amazing deck with a hot tub, a table and chairs, couch and a grill. At the rear of the yard, the second seating area is under a canopy of large trees. Here, you can sit around a fire pit. I was joined by a fox and a group of deer one morning. If this wasn’t enough, the property continues down a path to a private dock right on the water. This is a peaceful place to unwind at any time of the day. I cannot say enough about this amazing property. The property is only matched by the amazing hosts. They were super responsive and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.

I am originally from Richmond and, when returning to see family and friends, have stayed at nearly all of Richmond's AirBnBs over the years, including multiple month-long stays in Matthew's guest house. Given my needs, Matthew's is now only place I will stay if it's available, for the following reasons: 1) Matthew and his team are exemplary: highly professional (e.g. always quick to resolve minor issues that naturally come up in rental properties) and exceptionally caring (e.g., checking on us after we received medical care, during winter storms, etc.). The unit is extremely clean (thanks to a superb cleaning crew) and you will be impressed with how comfortable and private the unit is. No contact with neighbors, though they are pleasant/quiet. Totally safe for women solo travelers. Excellent location in Richmond - easy to get to highway, Fan/Carytown, downtown, VCU, University of Richmond, WestEnd, etc. We have already made our next reservation here. Don't hesitate to book yours.
