This is the second time we've stayed at Rauðenes, it seems we often bring severe weather with us! We had a great time, Fjola's place is great home base for days out, as well as a cozy place to stay for days in. We had a great time!

Amazing stay! 2nd time at this cabin and honestly wish we could have stayed a month. Beautiful, peaceful, perfect!

We stayed 10 nights in Iceland and this was the nicest chalet. Clean, cosy and two separate sleeping rooms and a private bathroom. We came mainly to spot the Northern lights and thought it wouldn’t be ideal because there is a hill to the north, but the two nights we stayed there both evenings we witnessed the most magnificant Northern lights. The surroundings are so dark that you could watch it from inside the warm cabin. I would definitely recommend this cabin.

Absolutely amazing stay here. It is beautiful, peaceful, quiet and the space is perfect. From heated floors, to the jacuzzi, to the beautiful views it is just the perfect getaway. Highly recommended. Odd was an amazing, considerate and accommodating host. Dont hesitate to book if you’re considering it!
