Welcome to 29 Västanvägen! Here, you'll have the entire ground floor of the building to yourself. Here, you'll live in a quiet area but close to everything, from green spaces to a grocery store. If you're planning to go skiing in Romme, you're on the right side of town. In 2026, it will be possible to rent this property either directly, with 14 fixed sleeping places, 4 toilets, and 4 showers, as well as an additional kitchenette on the basement level. A small, fantastically cozy house that is well-planned with kitchen, bathroom and loft where the bed is located. Proximity to everything Borlänge/Falun/Dalarna has to offer, with slalom in Romme Alpin in the winter, the nature paradise Gyllbergen winter/summer and Falu Mine, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Bed linens and towels are included, but you will have to make the beds and remove the linens before departure. The cottage needs to be cleaned before departure. You are welcome to ask questions and we are happy to help with tips for your stay!

Bedroom 2 has a sofa bed, 160 cm when unfolded. The kitchen is fully equipped except that there is no oven. The bathroom is equipped with shower, washing machine and drying rack. The location is central in Borlänge – within walking distance to both ICA Maxi, the city center, restaurants and shops. For ski lovers, Romme Alpin is only 15 minutes away by car.

Locally, you can take a walk/run in Smäcken or Frostbrunnsdalen, explore the spring streams, take a ride on the river, or a dip, or visit the ostriches a bike ride away. In winter, Romme Alpin offers 31 slopes and 13 lifts for all levels. When the lake freezes, it’s perfect for skating, skiing, or long walks. For cross-country skiing, visit scenic trails of Gyllbergen.

Vi har renoverat vårt gårdshus med kunskap om byggnadsvård, miljö och hållbarhet. Äggoljetemperans vackra kulörer pryder väggarna och äkta linoljefärg är en självklarhet i ett hus från sent 1800-tal. Fina kakelugnar värmer skönt och köket är stort och rymligt Vintertid finns fina förutsättningar för skidåkning för längd och utförsåkning vid Romme alpin. En c:a 8 km lång skridskobana plogas på vår sjö med anslutning c:a 100 meter från gården. Huset är beläget nära städerna Falun och Borlänge.

Gammelgården

Gammelgården is located in a nice village called Övermyra/Österberg, 2 km east of Storvik. Distance to nearby towns is Sandviken 13 km, Kungsberget 18 km, Gävle 36 km. Bus stop, 4-minute walk. The timber house is in Ottsjö Jämtland and was saved from being torn down when it was moved here. The interior design is unique with Swedish historical furniture and objects. Use of bed linens and towels, as well as cleaning, is included. Welcome home to us and our bright guest apartment located in the basement of our villa. You have your own entrance with a code lock and come down the stairs directly into the apartment, which has its own toilet with shower, a kitchenette with fridge and the possibility to cook. We who live in the house are me, Ola and my wife Theresa and our two boys born in 2017 and 2021.
