Pear Tree Studio is a new barn conversion in the garden of a family house in a village location five miles from Cambridge. We have on-site parking, there is a regular bus service into Cambridge from a nearby stop, and a cycle route to Cambridge via Grantchester Meadows. The studio has underfloor heating, a shower room/WC, kitchen, private patio and views over the garden and Cambridgeshire countryside.
“Lovely cabin. Very convenient for working at Horizon Park. Bus stop a 1 minute walk. Budgens Village Shop in Comberton, a 15 minute walk (paved footpath along one side of road). No buses on a Sunday or in the evenings (last one into Cambridge about 6.30pm, last one out about 7pm). Reasonable mobile signal (on O2). Spasmodic wifi signal (a couple of hours the first day, nothing the second day). Good bed and mattress. Very quiet at night, despite being on main road into Cambridge (cabin faces away from the road, overlooking open countryside). Peaceful, rural location. Saw barn owl, near Grantchester, on the bus ride from town. Hope to return.”
Luxury retreat in a quiet village very close to Cambridge. Self contained two bedroom annexe with beautiful outlooks; large garden with duckpond and extensive country walks
“Carmen and Peter were excellent hosts! Their property is just beautiful and you are made to feel so very welcome. The little touches included were really lovely. Amenities for a young family were perfect, highchair, baby bath, travel cot with comfortable mattress! We all slept soundly! The location is perfect you feel like you are in a very rural area but within 15 minutes drive you can be in Cambridge. There seems to be lots more in the area to explore, but we didnt have time! We look forward to returning next year!”
Old Fox Inn Annexe is an independent ground floor wing of The Old Fox Inn, a Grade 2 listed former pub dating from the mid 1700's. Chris and Sarah have just become the proud owners after buying the house from their friends who had already beautifully converted the annexe to a lovely space for airbnb guests. Set 9 miles from the historic city of Cambridge with good transport links. The property benefits from the use of a large garden with free range chickens and overlooking horse paddocks.
“Sarah provided invaluable instructions to help with locating the space. Upon arrival I was greeted by a stylish and well thought out space with all necessary amenities covered. I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone looking for somewhere to rest in the area.”
