Wow, what a lovely cabin in a lovely place, hosts were amazing, everything was so clean, even the dog bed! we were completely left alone after entering the cabin which was perfect, was told not to put my dog on a lead, really lovely place will definitely be returning, couldn't of asked for any more. Thank you for our lovely weekend away

Id highly recommend staying here! A very unique place to stay, the cabin itself and the garden it’s in is really beautiful. It feels very private. All the details inside have been really thought about, and has everything we needed. It’s felt so relaxing and luxurious. There are so many nice touches everywhere such as the stoneware, and bed linen. The outdoor shower made us feel a lot more connected with nature each morning, and the outdoor hot bathtub after we’d built a good fire was lovely after such a long drive. Kitchen has all the things you’d need, and as a bit of a coffee person having a v60 and filters in the cupboard was a really nice touch. The local farm eggs were a real treat! We utilised the communal barn as well (again a very well thought out space), which has a big oven etc. We really loved it here. Many thanks again to Henry and Ania, we can’t wait to come back!

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at Tim’s place. The lodge is even better than the photos and the quality of beds, linen, etc was really high quality - both the adults and children in our group all slept better than at home! The hot tub was a real highlight for us, brilliant size and ready for us to use as soon as we arrived. Tim was really responsive and available to answer any questions we had. Loved the location - highly recommend visiting “Outside” up the lane for a bite to eat and a drink

Loved our stay , was very cosy and pretty place. had everything we needed inside. Hot tub and fire were a bonus. All the animals on the farm were lovely to see. layout was great. greta stay

What a stunning location. The climb down (but more importantly, the climb up!) is worth it. Loved being so close to the sea with such a wonderful view. the cabin is very comfortable and warm with an impressively well-stocked kitchen: plenty of crockery and cutlery; there is even a waffle maker! Be warned that the closest beach is a steep climb down (and back up - 180 steps plus a long steep slope) so be prepared for that. We were certainly fitter by the end of the week. We didn’t venture off too much - I preferred to sit outside and appreciated having 3 different seating areas to choose from. We used the hot tub nearly every night, with some wonderful sunsets and clear starry nights. The Halfway House at Polbathic served a great Sunday lunch (don’t confuse it with the one at Kingsand like we did - happens all the time apparently!) and Room Smiths and Player Ready in Plymouth kept our boys entertained when the rain was lashing down (we took the ferry over from Torpoint).

Nathan was very friendly and very informative regarding places to eat and local surroundings etc. our stay was great loved the record player and even got back in hottub at 6am to see the sunrise. memorable is all I can say.

We loved our stay at the old chicken house!! The house itself is beautiful and even better than the pictures, it’s so peaceful and we felt at home right away! George and the other co hosts had very kindly put up a birthday banner as we were staying to celebrate my fiancé’s birthday and provided some lovely breakfast bits which added to the welcoming feel of the house! We stayed with our Labrador -Maggie and there were lots of great walks nearby, she particularly enjoyed the woodland walk by Otterhead lakes! The perfect relaxing escape! We didn’t want to leave!!

WOW! What a fabulous bungalow and location. 4 of us and a dog stayed for a few days in April. The location is stunning, just minutes’ walk from Seaton Hole beach and the fabulous Jurassic Bites café and a short, spectacular wander from the beautiful town of Beer. The bungalow itself has everything you could wish for, including a walled/fenced garden that kept my dog happy and provided us with incredible sea views and garden seating. Louise is a wonderful host and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a relaxing stay. The fresh scones on arrival were a lovely touch. Thanks so much for sharing your bungalow.

lovely people, beautiful setting and enjoyed the local walks from the door. safe space for my dog in the enclosed garden. plenty of logs supplied for the woodburner. A very relaxing place to stay. would recommend to others.

What a little hidden haven ❤️❤️ So pleased we found it😍😍 a real treat to find a such a peaceful little place to just go and chill out the dogs loved a it too 🥰 And a added bonus to be able to roll down that lovely hill ha ha lol such fun 🤣🤣 who says we need to grow old graceful 🥰🥰😂😂 Thank you so much Tim we will be back!!

Just returned from a wonderfully, peaceful and relaxing stay, the location of the property is great, the views were spectacular, the hosts gave us all the information we needed and the property was exactly as the pictures showed and better, The property was very private a spotlessly clean, it was a great place to take our dog with many country side walks nearby Cannot recommend this property enough

Great location, picturesque views, spacious living room and kitchen with all appliances, we also enjoyed sunny weather in the decking area. Good value for money. Overall, very pleased with the stay.

We had a wonderful time at the Old Tea Hut. It’s beautifully decorated, spacious, with the most amazing views. A special place to stay regardless of the season, we were treated to mostly sunny weather (the sunset was incredible across the bay!) but even on a rainy day it was great to look out and enjoy the property. Lots to do in the local area - we enjoyed a good dinner at the Finnygook Inn, golf at Whitsand Bay Golf Club, and lunch at the Cliff Top Cafe.

Such an idyllic stay, with peaceful surroundings. Judith and James were so friendly and helpful, giving recommendations and friendly advice. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a quiet and relaxing getaway!

We loved our stay at the Nest - the location is so beautiful & peaceful and the Nest was just as described. Felicity was very helpful, proactive and responsive welcoming us for check in, sharing local recommendations. We spent Easter there with our 3yo and Felicity left children’s books, toys for the bath & Easter chocolates which she loved! Looking forward to coming back!

Wow! What a place! It sounds a cliche but we will definitely be visiting again! Next time for more than one evening. We’re already looking through the diary for the next available weekend. It was everything we expected and more. We stayed as it was as close to an event we were attending that evening. Upon arrival we were worried about getting a taxi to an event as uber didn’t work well in the area. Jill (the host) kindly asked what time we needed to be there and what time we needed to be collected and she organised it all. She really went above and beyond what was expected and made us feel welcomed and comfortable. Couldn’t have asked for more

A relaxing, peaceful location. We stayed here for a short break just after our wedding - Lynne and Neil were very flexible and welcoming. The shack was perfect for our getaway. Everything you need for a cosy escape.

We all had a fantastic weekend at Woodpecker Lodge. The lodge was very clean and very well stocked. All the little details were thought of. A lovely enclosed garden for the children and dogs to play in, plus lovely walks around the grounds. The lodge was very easy to find, especially with the instructions sent through before we travelled. Great communication from start to finish. Would highly recommend for families with children and dogs. We were sad to have to leave this morning. We are looking forward to coming back again in the future.

Lovely lodge in a peaceful setting, nicely presented, good number of bathrooms, big fridge was useful, clean, cute, cosy.

Excellent stay, Very comfortable and relaxing. Electra has great knowledge of the area and very friendly and helpful. A bonus of the stay is the surrounding view.

Me, my wife and our little dog have had the most relaxing of breaks at Birch lodge. in addition we have not felt as comfortable as we did at a rental accommodation in many a year. Peace, space, time and comfort... what more could we ask for. 10/10!

We really enjoyed our stay at Emily’s beautiful cabin. Everything was spotless and clean when we arrived and felt right at home. The place has everything you may need or want. Emily was very helpful and gave us amazing local spots and walks to do which we enjoyed. She’s a very kind host with great communication. Definitely will book again when coming to the area. 10/10
