Vacation rentals with lake access in Braga

Excellent stay. The house exceeded expectations, beautiful and very neat. It smelled very well. In addition, the site was extremely calm and with a lot of privacy. They were very attentive, always ready to help. We had a small situation that we eventually managed to solve ourselves, however they were attentive to the point of leaving a basket with breakfast at our door for the inconvenience we had. I recommend it 100% and we will definitely be back there.

Great for a family, we had a wonderful weekend. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms, never a wait even with many adults getting ready! Beautiful view of the river, bridges, landscape of the area. Super convenient with good restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. Would love to stay here again on our next vacation to Gerês.

Wonderful stay in a super nice space and almost perfect scenery if the rain didn't stop to fall.

Beautiful and spacious house with a spectacular view to the lake and the bridges. It has a modern interior and is well equipped. There are many sitting areas around the house so you can relax in or out the sun or wind. The pool is nice for cooling but to small for serious swimming. The area is ideal for nature lovers who want to walk in or view the hills in Geres.

We had a fabulous week at Eusebio’s place. The cabin was bright, modern and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. We made good use of the bbq and enjoyed paddle boarding and pedeloing along the river. We also enjoyed walking along the river and through the woods. However, our favourite thing was to to just spend time in the beautiful pool. It really was glorious and we are now totally spoilt in terms of having a pool that is heated!! It really makes all the difference!!

Beautiful area! Such a lovely setting for this darling little house. Perfect in every way!

Nice quiet place. It’s a suite in the bottom floor of their house. The interior of it and the patio area felt a bit like a peaceful oasis. In terms of location, you will probably need a car to get there and to get to anything (there is quite a bit to do within 15-30 minutes of driving). It’s not especially walkable. There is a little cafe and a small grocery store just up the street, which was great for evening snack runs :) They are very friendly people and clearly put a lot of effort into making their space welcoming 💜

I loved the cottage; it was quaint, clean and private with lots of friendly cats who welcomed us. The only real issue I had was the bed was very hard. Maybe a mattress topper? Marie is outstanding as a hostess.

This stay was just unforgettable! Thanks to Mónica who has always been responsive and is full of good advice:) The place is peaceful, beautiful, next to many points of interest by car (Braga, Guimaraes...) but away from the hustle and bustle of them. What's for sure is that we'll come back and recommend this place to friends! There are all the advantages of a hotel (breakfast, spa...) without the inconveniences, the perfect place to relax! we were seduced by this exotic, quiet and beautiful place! from the space to the outdoor amenities, everything was great! our children aged 11 and 6 also enjoyed the place. a great welcome from the host , we already know in advance that we will be back!!

Unfortunately there were only 2 nights, house and location 5*.. Mr. Antonio was spectacular with us making it easy at check in/check out leaving us completely at will, D. Olivia e o Sr. Secundino were impeccable with us making us feel like we were part of the family, some loves we came with a full heart and very eager to return soon but this time with more time because Gerês is beautiful and mt was left to explore.. until soon and mt thank you for all kindness and availability 🥰

Wonderful stay in a great apartment in Quinta Da Barca. The host Nathalie was very responsive and ensured we had everything we needed in the house, even offering a clean mid-stay and putting out a cot for our baby. It's a 3 bedroom duplex with all the amenities required including 5g internet speed, living room + TV, dining room, nice balcony with table and chairs, and all the kitchen appliances. Quinta Da Barca is a lovely residence situated close to Esposende, it has a golf course, tennis courts, pool and it's on the river. The apartment is very close to the pool (1 min walk) which is really helpful when you have small kids that need to go back and forth between the house and the pool. Recommend anyone to go stay in the Nathalie's appartment, we will definitely revisit next year!

Excellent space, top location, security, cleaning, communication with the host, accessibility… Anyway, everything super positive and nothing to point out! Loved it and recommend it 😊

very friendly and responsive host. very good communication. top-notch accommodation. just missing air conditioning or screens to be able to leave the windows open at night to refresh the apartment. very spacious accommodation for 5. clean and functional.

The apartment was spotless. The location was quite good. Check-in is quite flexible. Mrs. Luísa is super friendly and attentive, she gave us some information on what to do in the surrounding area. I'm sure if I return to Gerês I will repeat the stay.

We had a lovely stay at this cottage located in the countryside in a relaxing place! José and Aurora were very attentive: tips, fruit and apple juice from the farm, thank you! Supermarket 5 minutes away, rivers for swimming a few minutes away, Amarante and Guimarães 45 minutes away, Porto 1h15.

independent house on the banks of the river, spacious rooms, very clean bathrooms, there is all the space you need, the enchanting garden area with river and mountain views, having breakfast in the garden was wonderful to come back to!

Mr. Rui , his home is simply spectacular. An incredible energy that reflects the owner's soul. We would love to repeat the experience in the summer , I will be attentive to the calendar ( and I will pray for Mr to remember us 😁 and who knows how to give us a small advantage ). I enjoy and thank you for accepting our pets , too. It was a therapy for them . Abcs fraternos .

We were very well received and greatly enjoyed our stay at the house. Maria Fatima was very helpful and accomodating during our entire stay and did her best to help us and make us feel right at home. The house is on the outskirts of a village in a very calm area, but close to many bigger and busier cities, and beaches. The garden, pool and bar areas are perfect to enjoy from morning to nighttime, and it feels like a small private resort. The small children loved running around to play with the cats and dog, watching the birds, going in the pool, playground, and just having fun in the large and very diverse garden. The host lives in a house adjacent to the rented house but is very discreet, and even though we enjoy privacy we didn't have any issues staying in the house with the hosts nearby. In fact she was so helpful and kind we felt it was a joy to have her close by. She brought us many gifts of food, desserts and cake, and helped us in many ways during the stay.

Célia was extremely solicitous, made the information clear and was 100% available!

Beautiful house, amazing private location above a lake. Very relaxing being immersed in nature. House well kitted out and lovely features. We took our paddleboard and wonderful paddle boarding on the lake. Children loved the swimming and the ‘cold tub’ plunge pool. Thankyou Gerrit and Grace, we hope to return.
