We were lucky enough to discover this haven of greenery and tranquility for a weekend with friends. Between discoveries of Sancerre and activities offered within the house, we would have liked to extend the stay to continue enjoying the pool and various amenities. Fabienne was always very responsive and present, which allowed us to take possession of the premises in a serene and complete manner.

We stayed at Jean François's for a new year with friends with our children (11 people). The place was spotless! The beds were very comfortable and the rooms much larger than in the photos. Everything has been renovated to the highest standards, which makes the accommodation particularly comfortable. We all had a pleasant stay and we warmly thank Jean Francois for hosting us.

Very happy with the accommodation, very well furnished, clean, in the city center the little plus a little attention upon arrival. Small downside, the light passes through some curtains so people who need complete black to fall asleep is a bit complicated.

We had a fantastic stay at Fabrice’s apartment. He is one of the most exceptional hosts I have ever encountered. He goes out of his way to make sure that you know how every square inch of the apartment works. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Orléans.

I cannot speak highly enough about this wonderful apartment and the kindest of hosts. We stayed here for four months and from the moment we arrived it felt like home. All the touches of a family home, spacious, full of character, all day light from windows , a wood fireplace. Every mod con. Induction stove, fridge with ice and water, coffee machine, all the plates, cutlery and cooking utensils you need. A laundry equipped with washing machine and dryer and stacked with cleaning materials. Top notch heating. The hosts? From the moment they collected us at the train station to the moment they delivered us back to the station, they could not have been more welcoming and generous in their responses to our requests. The location? Perfect. The magnificent church outside our window, the 10m walk across the wild Loire into the grandeur of the historic city. Fantastic theatre, art, sport, festivals. If you want to taste France, stay here and stay in this apartment. Thanks Alex and Sophie!

The apartment is spacious and bright, and on top of that very clean. The Cathedral and the city center are within walking distance and the castles of the Loire River about 50 minutes drive away so it's great for visiting

Seemingly very charming. Clean, very comfortable bedding (the 3 beds), spacious. The location is ideal for strolling through downtown Orléans and the banks of the Loire. We had a lovely and relaxing stay. The chateau and accommodation are beautiful. The children loved playing in the grounds/pool and interacting with the chickens/goats. Nathalie could not have been more helpful.

We spent a 3-day stay in this lovely, well-equipped house. There's plenty to do between games and amenities. The location is very peaceful with the small lake of water and the singing of birds and frogs. The hot tub is great. We will come back to test the outdoor pool. I recommend! Where to start?! There's so much good! The contact before our arrival was great and stayed the same throughout our stay. Alexis and Carole are very attentive. There's nothing missing. La Germignonne is a very relaxing place, very well appointed with important peculiarities, such as the hot tub or piano for the musicians between us. The kids loved the huge garden with lots of activities - the bad weather didn't stop them from enjoying it. Once again, with all the elaborate on-site explanations, Carole and Alexis leave no doubt that they want vacationers to be comfortable. A big thank you from us ten (2 grandparents, 4 parents and 4 children)!
