Meldorf is the nearest town, about 10 minutes by car, where, for example, shopping can be done.

Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). "Surfing Alpaca" apartment on the North Sea!

Experience a wonderful time in the countryside. The farm is in an idyllic, secluded location and is very child-friendly. Enjoy the time to relax in nature, barbecue in the garden, walk, cycle, visit our dwarf goats in the petting zoo (alpacas = no petting animals) or take trips to the surrounding area. At the North Sea (6 km) you can swim, mudflat hiking and surfing. Our garden invites you to linger with its various seating options.

The in-law is located in Kellinghusen in the immediate vicinity of the Stör and the Aukrug Nature Park. The scenic surroundings in and around Kellinghusen offers many possibilities for outdoor activities, e.g. for canoe tours and excursions by bike. The outdoor swimming pool of Kellinghusen is right near. The train station from Wrist with train connections to Hamburg, Kiel, Neumünster, Pinneberg and Elmshorn is only 5 km away.
