The house, although it seems small, served perfectly for six people plus a baby and has everything you need for a great stay. It is located on a hillside with a fabulous view of the surrounding hills (and you can even see Our Lady of Grace in the distance). The pool, being shared with the house below, is more than enough to accommodate everyone and helped cool off the hottest days. I would also like to highlight the friendliness of D. Amélia, who checked us in and also André who was available for anything that was needed. It's on the list of places to revisit for a family vacation!

Absolutely stunning space. All the outdoor terrain is beautifully cared for and gives us the feeling of total privacy, of being in another dimension. It's beautiful. Wonderful swimming pool. The house is also extremely comfortable, with all amenities needed. Nothing to point out wrong.

An amazing house for family vacations! The house is very well equipped and very spacious with a large swimming pool to enjoy the sun. Isabelle was very responsive and pleasant during our stay. I totally recommend it!

Beautiful private home located at the top of a small hill that overlooks the church and city centre below. We really enjoyed our stay with the lovely surrounding views and the garden. The only downside was the church bells ringing every hour, throughout into the night which affected our sleep. But we bought some ear plugs and was able to get over the sound. Would definitely recommend this place for a cozy stay.

Great for a quiet stay for a large family. Good outdoor space by the pool and overall garden area. The house is very equipped with appliances and dishes. The host was always impeccable and very available with all requests.

A wonderful stay, a beautiful and very relaxing villa. We arrived early and were able to advance the schedule to collect the keys . They are really hosts who are very attentive to our needs and accommodating . We had a great time and met hosts as they are rare . Thanks again for the stay

It was amazing! The location is very beautiful, it's quiet with the river, it's very cute. Private parking with gate, it's great. The pool is very clean and very good in August. They are very welcoming and very kind. The beds were a little hard, mattress level. And missing dish towels and towels in the kitchen. But otherwise, thanks for this crazy stay.

We very much enjoyed the stay, the place and the surroundings. We wanted a very calm and welcoming place and that's what we had. It's only a pity for so many insects, but it's an inevitable consequence of the surrounding area. The house is probably a great winter retreat as well.

We had a wonderful vacation. We recommend this beautiful place with your eyes closed: well maintained whether it is the garden or the interior, lots of spaces (cleaned and organized). Raul and Vera are very accessible and are very generous, a welcome and a remarkable availability, which allowed us to have a great holiday! The location of Cavez is a charming place, for its wilderness and people. Amazing views of the valleys and peaceful silence. Feel free to stay!

We felt right at home. Fernando is very attentive to everything and very friendly. A great host. To repeat. The house is simple, as it appears in the photos. But enough to be comfortable. The pool is perfect,has a barbecue and even a small orchard. Recommend this place.

We were warmly greeted by Sara, who was incredibly helpful throughout our three-day stay at the Quinta. The cottage is simple—consisitn g a one-bedroom, two-bathroom unit with a basic kitchen—one of four similar units converted from granite walles outbuildings of a grand Quinta. The property is expansive, offering many lovely spots to relax, whether in the vineyard, under a fig tree, or around the generously sized swimming pool. Despite being in a secluded valley, it's just a short drive to Cabeceiras de Basto, where you'll find charming Praia Fluvials, shops, cafes, and restaurants. We quickly became friends with another group occupying the other three properties, enjoying shared meals and drinks while the children played in the pool. Casa de Sestelo is an amazing, relaxing spot to spend a few days.

probably one of the best airbnb i have ever visited. For a low price you can have a very private bungalow with pool. The host is extremly nice, very helpful and also flexible with check in and check out.

Quinta Do Rapozinho is a beautiful place located in a former traditional northern farm. We had a bit of a struggle to find the place, arriving late at night didn’t help 😞. My advice is to write the name of the place on your satnav ( even if you are using your mobile like I did). The place itself is amazing, peaceful and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Amazing location with stunning views and cows on the field some days. They work really hard to make you feel comfortable. The breakfast is varied and very tasty with plenty of home made butter, yoghurt and cake.Cheese, ham,granola, etc. We tried both,in the breakfast room and delivered to the room and they are equally delicious. We stayed in the Casa do Palheiro it’s cosy, warm and rustic in a good way. Our son and girlfriend joined us over the weekend and the space was plenty big for four adults,if you are looking for a taste of local history this is the place.

We spent wonderful days at the place. The place is simply amazing and has brought us the peace we were looking for. Our experience was great and we plan to return in the future. Isabel was always helpful and kind, great host. We are grateful to visit this site.

Beautifully renovated old house with a huge backyard, a nice pool, amazing mountain views, and stunning living room with a fireplace and cozy couches to play board games and relax and laugh with your friends. It’s a charming place to escape the city and enjoy nature and quality time with people you love.

The place is amazing! Even though it was raining our whole stay, we did not feel bored, the nature around is so beautiful and it is so quiet. There are horses and goats, and the cutest dogs, so it is perfect place to detox from modern world. The place has everything necessary for a perfect peaceful weekend, I was sleeping so well there. We loved our stay!
