Vacation rentals with a pool in Cabo Verde

Francesca is a super lovely host, she organizes everything you need, whether taxis or reservations of great restaurants. She goes out of her way and can be contacted at any time. The accommodation has everything you need, is beautiful and totally clean. Beautiful beaches and restaurants are within easy walking distance. We would come back 😊

This is where you want to be! Pool large enough for short laps. The house is huge! Lucas' relatives are across the driveway and very helpful with issues. Expect some family activity, but other times completely quiet, and we had the pool to ourselves whenever we used it. Rental car needed.

House facing the sea to sleep with the sound of the waves. Nice view of the port of Palmeira. The house under construction (never finished) next door is not an inconvenience. Small industrial and fishing port. Charming village to immerse yourself in the Cape Verdian atmosphere. Ralf answers your questions very quickly and will give you great places to dine or have breakfast with the locals. Palmeira is a 4mn drive and 30mn from Santa Maria to enjoy the beaches and festive bars. Thanks to Ralf for hosting us and we recommend the Surf House for those who want to stay in one of the few authentic places on the island of Sal. .

Wonderful place. Feels like you are at the end of the Earth. Very lovely house with plenty of space and a great place to relax. Recommend the cliff walk the Ponta do Sol (taxi back to Chã de Igreja for 3000esc). Breakfast can be added and Thierry also cooks a great dinner on request. If you are English, brush up on your French! Mimi only speaks French but Thierry speaks a bit of English. M+T provided plenty of info on the shared cars on the island (Aluguer collectivo) which is a cheaper way to get around (a tenth of the price of taxis). Be aware there is not much to "do" in the area – this is a place to escape civilization, hike and relax 🙏

Such a lovely place to stay. Close enough to the beach and town centre to walk if you wanted to or you can hop on the complimentary mini bus. The apartment was as described and had everything needed to enjoy the holiday. Internet was very hit and miss which impacted on the TV channels that were available but this was a minor detail.

Kindly Bernard agreed to pick us up for free from our previous accommodation. He accommodated us in a larger, very nice house. Valerie and Bernard do everything to make our stay enjoyable: bike loan, informed advice, we really enjoyed the visit to her friend Raphaël Colicci who founded the Maioasis agroforestry farm:an extraordinary project to develop autonomous farms for social and solidarity purposes on the island of Maio.

Great stay at Wayne's, everything was perfect. His co-host José was very nice and efficient when we needed it. We did not rent a car, everything is within walking distance and we took public transport or taxis, very easy to use. Cape Verdeans are friendly and warm people. We will definitely return to Cape Verde in this house.

Sofia's big house is a haven of peace. It is typical, made of stone covered with a layer of white lime. The environment is peaceful, we were surrounded by very friendly people, nice dogs, cats, and a few chickens and roosters. The kitchen is well equipped enough to prepare a few meals. The terrace is very beautiful, with lots of plants, with beautiful sea views not far away. The bedding is comfortable, as is the large living room. It takes about twenty minutes to walk to the center of the beautiful and typical village of Cidade Velha where you can find supplies and good restaurants. Breakfast is good and full. And what about the great hospitality of Sofia and Vany, not much except fantastic! They go out of their way for you and are looking to please you and make sure you have a great stay. In short, a very nice place!

We stayed for 2 months January/February to get away from the cold Uk weather. Cape Verde temperature was just right for us with a lovely breeze. Villa Verde is a really large and peaceful complex. It felt like we had our own pool to ourselves at times because it was not a busy time of the year. Apartment is just like the photos and it was actually bigger than I expected, especially for the price we paid. We managed to see most of the sites that Cape Verde (Sal) has to offer. The beaches are all amazing. Adrian and Maxine were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We were in need of the walk in medical centre during our stay, where everyone was very helpful, caring and professional. We would recommend to our friends and would return to this Non Stress Island.

A nice place with good value for money. Nice contact and well-maintained facility. We felt very comfortable in this small oasis. Security and housekeeping service always had a friendly word. Felt very welcome- thank you for this.

The apartment is very well located. It is in close proximity to all restaurants and shops. The apartment matches the photos and description. It's functional and very clean. The rooms are air conditioned and the beds are so comfortable. We would recommend the apartment to friends and family and would definitely stay there again.

Very happy stay in mindelo for carnival! The accommodation is located a 10-minute walk from the city center. A convenience store is just below. Taxis pass regularly nearby as well. The place is impeccable. Just a small disappointment as we did not have access to the swimming pool and games for security reasons. But the host had nothing to do with this. The host always responded quickly and also gave us taxi numbers to get around. Great family stays on mindelo!

The apartment was perfect for our family of 2 adults and 4 children. It was nice with 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. It takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach and 10 minutes to the city. There are a few small supermarkets nearby where you can buy the essentials. Vikki is a great host and quick to respond to TEXT. She can also help with the transfer from the airport upon arrival. We'll definitely be back.

Paola was always available and made it easier for us to arrive by organizing a transfer at night, we just got into her apartment. The view from the balcony is great, you can hear the sound of the sea and birds chirping. The apartment is very clean and central in a central location.

A beautiful setting, facing the pool/ocean and within walking distance to downtown and other beaches. The flat is perfect for a couple or small family, with a full kitchen, comfy couch/living space, and a nice terrace. Stijn was fabulous, a very helpful and responsive host. He helped organised an excellent airport transport for us to accommodate a very late arrival, and he allowed us to leave our bags/use the terrace after check out until we could check in to our next place. He also provided numerous helpful local tips and recommendations, and dealt with all unexpected issues very quickly. Highly recommended!
