Maria was a very kind host and always available, ready to welcome every need with a smile. The house is a small gem surrounded by nature, perfect for relaxing and disconnecting from the routine. A really pleasant stay, highly recommended!

Natacha was great and amazing with us !! She communicated well with us and helped us arrange anything we wanted to do or looking for. If we needed information about anything she was always accommodating us. She did not come back with just one recommendation but several. Always checking in on how we were doing, and if everything was OK, or if we needed anything. La Casa Del Mango was very clean and well organized. The amenities, awesome, well stocked with everything you would need. This whole place is amazing. Oh !! did I mention the pool, amazing. Oh !! did I mention Martin (Natacha husband) super nice, also amazing, Oh !! did I mention the wildlife, amazing. I can keep on going, and going, about La Casa Del Mango in a positive direction but I will end this review with saying that La casa definitely deserves 5 stars out of 5. Nope !!!! no negatives from our family vacation, would recommend to anyone.

The place is beautiful, spacious, full of trees and has a ranch for a cool and pleasant time. The beautiful house, with cute rustic finishes, is well equipped. Luís always answers questions. I would definitely go back.

My friends and I spent a lot of time researching various Airbnbs in Puerto Viejo, and are so happy we decided on this one. Not only is this house beautiful, comfortable, clean and airy, but it is surrounded by gorgeous lush vegetation. It was wonderful to see (and hear) the many birds, butterflies and even howler monkeys through the large windows in every room (and from the various patios of the house). There was greenery everywhere. The location... a short (and pleasant) walk from the main road, and the beach was perfect. Our host Mirjana, and her husband Leo, are lovely people. They are pleasant, honest, and genuine, and are amazing hosts. Mirjana was quick to respond to the many questions I had. She was always available to give advice and tips about restaurants, drivers (she recommended an excellent tuktuk driver, whom we used often), and more. Mirjana and Leo, thank you so much for making our stay at Casa Palmera so special.

Beautiful Airbnb right by the beach! The location was perfect, just steps from the san. The space was stylish, comfortable, and full of natural light. The host was welcoming and provided everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful beach getaway.

Wonderful place to stay in Puerto viejo. Everything is in walking distance and the cahuita national park and manzanillo Refugio are just 20-30min by car. Our host was very nice and reacted very quickly and relaxed when we locked us out one time 😅 I can only recommend this place to everyone wanting to stay in the area.

A very beautiful place, surrounded by nature, very quiet, the kitchen has everything it occupies, comfortable beds, the room very spacious. I would definitely come back and I recommend it.

The place was great - location was ideal for our week trip. we saw agoutis, turtles, toucans right from the balcony, and the river was nice to have right there. Only thing of note is the open air gym right next to the place that plays music during the days. We were out most of the days so it was fine but there were a couple times we were hanging on the hammocks, which were lovely, and wish it was just nature sounds instead of the gym music. The music ends I believe around 8 so it's not disruptive, just something to note. The place was fantastic though and met what we wanted!

We loved the place, especially the outdoor kitchen and privacy. If you like it privately, this is the place to be. It is about 4 minutes by car away from the main road. But perfect for us to escape the hustle and bustle of the area in the evening or so.

Loida was super friendly and hospitable, I explain everything with a lot of patience and made us feel at home, I would definitely come back again ☺️

Lovely place. The landscaping is extraordinary and it was so beautiful we spent several days just staying at the house. The hotel next-door was a bonus as it had a bar restaurant where we could order drinks and food and have them delivered to the beach. the beach was empty, but you could walk a mile and either direction to go to a busier beach with beach bars and restaurants. Had a bit of an issue with the pool at one point, but Utopía Caribe, the property manager, was very attentive and remedied the problem to our satisfaction. If you're going to the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, rent this house.

The place was perfect for us. Especially great was the beautiful veranda for the cafe in the morning and the bikes to be flexible and not to have to use a car. We had the apartment in the upper level. There the light and the view of surrounding trees are very nice. The new treehouse is now very close to the Villa. Since it wasn't covered yet, it was very relaxed in the villa. May be different when all rooms are fully booked. Thanks for the great time.

I had a perfect stay in Puerto Viejo and in Ernyk his airbnb. He helped me with extra requests which was very nice. The house is very new and beautiful, a lot of green and animals around + only 5 min bikeride to shops and restaurants. Another plus is the eco friendly elements in the house. I would recommend this place 1000% and hope to return someday.

Good accommodation in a quiet area of Puerto Viejo, 5 minutes by car from downtown. We travel with family 4 people and stayed in one of the casitas they have with kitchen and bunk bed. Spacious and comfy stay. As it appears in the photos. Cozy common area and very clean pool. The manager Giacomo was very nice and always attentive. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed my stay. Clean, cute and peaceful Airbnb. Martin was quick to address anything that came up. Would come back.

The rooms are very big and great for groups of people. Steps from the beach, pool, tennis court, super chill people. Next door to Banana Azul beach club so you can hang there and use their services as well.

This airbnb is exactly as the pictures. It is absolutely beautiful and very spacious. Things to note is that only the lower bedrooms have AC. The upstairs living room was very nice! The house is private, but a lot further out from town so you’ll need transportation to and from as there are not many restaurants nearby. The host, Jorge was always very responsive and helpful. Overall we had such a great stay and can’t wait to be back.
