We, a family with 4 children (10, 13, 16 and 18 years), have a holiday home next to our house with its own entrance and parking space. The cottage is within walking distance of the charming village center, just like the beach (approximately 500m from the cottage). 750m away is a beautiful hiking and nature reserve the Zwanenwater. You can unwind under the veranda and have canoes at your disposal with which you can explore the beautiful surroundings and the picturesque village of Kolhorn. It is located on the Westfriese Omringdijk, where you can take beautiful cycling or walking tours in the area. You can enjoy the beach and the cozy city of Schagen with the West Frisian Market every week.

The Sandepark is a quiet and green holiday park about 600m from coastline. The wide sandy beach is great for beach recreation: swimming, surfing, fishing, kite flying, blockarts and paddle boarding. In the immediate vicinity of Groote Keeten you will find beautiful walking and cycling routes through beautiful nature reserves.
