The place was excellent. Beautiful old home with lots of character. Patio was great although we didn't get to use it due to weather Would highly recommend Margret was an excellent host

I had a wonderful stay at this peaceful cabin near the beach. The place was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The location is perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature. The host was excellent—very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet getaway.

We had 5 family members + dog visit for 3 nights at Debbie’s place in Florence. It has all the amenities you need and is a ‘Hallmark’ like home. Our stay was very comfortable and is close to town. Debbie is a great host who was flexible and was always responsive. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely come again next time in town.

The place was amazing, quiet and peaceful just what we were looking for, Heather was awesome to deal with when we had questions. This is the first time staying but it definitely won’t be the last my only issue was we didn’t stay longer Thank you again

Everything was great. Very clean. A little short on utensils. Would recommended the B&B to anyone looking for a place to stay.

There are not enough words to say how outstanding the experience was at Caper Landing and with our host Nikki. I don’t know what else could have been provided but a generous basket of gifts including a lobster stuffie and knit swag toque hats for all 10 of us set the scene for all the delights of the place. So many amenities, even fireproof blankets for the fire pit, the spa like bathrooms, the most fully equipped kitchen I had ever seen, all added up to a luxury hotel experience with Airbnb convenience for a large party. Both levels were unbelievably kitted out, with the lower level giving us all we needed in a second gathering space with all the toys including shuffleboard, games, card table and so much more. Two mirrored floors of beds and baths, with two principle suites and two extra full baths meant everyone had privacy and restful retreats. Everything was first class and beyond. We are booking our return for next year! Brava, Nikki, you rock!

Robbie’s a great host. When I showed up, his dad was there to greet me — super kind guy, even helped me with the door code. The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Robbie checked in to make sure I was good, and if I needed anything, he had it handled. Great spot, great people. Would definitely stay again.

First time staying at Sara’s. Was all I needed. Service was excellent. Warm comfortable space. Love the extra touches. Christmas tree, toiletries, complimentary wine and ofcourse the gym.

Great location, closed to shopping, grocery and few restaurants. Looking forward to return.

Mark was a phenomenal host; stopped by more than once to check in, say hello, ask if we had any questions or concerns and just chat! Wonderful and thoughtful touches around the cottage that we discovered throughout our time there. Location was a 10/10!! Large, beautiful yard atop lakeside where many fires were enjoyed. Close to lots of hiking trails, shops and quaint restaurants. Can’t speak highly enough about Mark, he even lent us a hiking guide book which we found very helpful and came by on our last evening to say a fair well. Thank you for everything!

We had a great time at the hilltop cabin, the fire pit and beautiful view down at the beach were lovely. Quite the hill down to the beach but well worth it! The compostable toilet was the nicest I’ve ever seen. I highly recommended this place to anyone visiting CB!

Absolutely lovely spot to stay. Very unique experience with picturesque surroundings. Seems very well managed with a very helpful / personable host. We could absolutely see ourselves selecting Sally's Brook again on another Cape Breton adventure. 100% recommend if your looking for a cabin experience!

There are not words to describe how much I loved staying here!!! Everything on the property is so thoughtfully constructed and arranged, from the items in the cabin (towels for the furniture in addition to for showering, shower shoes, bathrobe, etc) to the washroom (far and away the nicest composting toilet I have ever used, super clean and always smelled good!!). Puffin pod is absolutely adorable, well ventilated when the windows are open, really good views, close to all the amenities — the only change I’d make is that I would have loved a curtain for the front door. The fern trail leading up to the cabins is precious, and it was well lit enough that I didn’t need a headlamp most times. The hosts are super nice and really helpful, and the communal spaces are gorgeous!! I will 1000% be staying here again!!
