I really enjoyed my stay. This home is clean with updated appliances. The bed was extremely comfortable. This location is in close proximity to food and shopping.

The place was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for our family vacation to Cape Charles. The carport was convenient for our golf cart rental. We made use of the grill and back deck while meeting the friendly neighbor. The front porch was great for morning coffee with views of the park and boulevard out front. This location can't be beat, we loved walking over to the park each day and it was a short walk to the beach and shopping. We will be back for sure!

Excellent stay at Daniel’s place. The home was spotless, had everything we needed and was extremely quiet neighborhood. Beds were very comfy and TVs in every room. Daniel was a great host to communicate with and made sure our stay a great one. Highly recommend this home for your next stay!

We love this house! Our dogs love to sit in outside porch and they have lots of room to play outside.

This was a great house for a group getaway with a fun vibe. There was lots of lounge space on the couch. The beds are comfortable and the fire pit is a nice hangout area.

Gagik’s place was very clean, and exactly as described. It had everything needed for our stay and the instructions were very clear.

The place was perfect. The beds were comfy and clean and there were plenty of games to play to keep guests entertained. I especially loved sitting out back by the river with my fishing pole in the water. The neighbors were quiet and it was just an over all joyful experience. Wouldn't mind staying here again.

The Laughing King (and the Honeymoon Island Cottage in particular) were fantastic! A wonderful quick getaway from DC for couples. The property is gorgeous - a farm with a historic old house that is the main lodge, surrounded by hundred-year-old oak trees, a standalone cottage (that we stayed in for 3 nights), open fields, a saltwater pool, and private beach with dock and a boat and SUPs for guest use. MJ serves up gourmet breakfasts (eggs Benedict, avocado toast, French toast, quiche, etc. over the course of our stay) + coffee in the morning and also dished out recommendations on local spots to visit. 100% will be back!

We loved our stay at the Rosé Retreat and are so sad to leave! The place was spacious and beautiful- we felt right at home. The surroundings were so peaceful and serene. Roxanne and Tara were very responsive and helpful. This was the perfect place for our family to spend a fun weekend together. When we come back to Irvington, we will absolutely stay at the Rosé Retreat again!

We were in town for our son’s wedding and enjoyed our stay very much. Jason responded quickly to the few questions we had. We would definitely stay again.

My bf and I stayed here for 2 nights and had the best time. We’re looking to get an RV/ Travel van for ourselves so it kinda gave us an idea of what that would look like ☺️ We traveled to this Dog Park in Kilamarnock about 20 mins from the Rv and got burgers and lobster rolls in town at Small Town Burger (kinda pricey but their curly fries cooked in beef tallow was amazing). We spent most of the day just walking our pup around and basking in the sun. It was a peaceful stay, we will definitely be back.

Space was great for our family and larger than depicted in photos. Access to the beach was easy and stunning.

To say this house was a dream come true would be an understatement. From the moment we drove up the long driveway and laid eyes on the picturesque setting of the red house nestled in the woods, we fell in love. My 17-year old daughter walked in and said the pictures online did it no justice and she is exactly right. The house was immaculate, with every feature you could possibly imagine. The technology throughout was unbelievable. Google Home in EVERY room. TVs with surround sound. A game room that kept us busy for hours. A karaoke machine. It was a much needed getaway. Our dogs were in heaven with the acres of land to explore on walks. I have never felt so relaxed. I just can’t say enough. I love the city of Cape Charles but honestly did not want to leave this house. The host, Dave, was so great with communicating, even before we arrived. We will definitely plan another visit here! I would say the only downside was getting carpel tunnel trying to beat high scores in the arcade room. ?

Great location for what we needed, close to all options of food and grocery. Only 6 minutes from Boo Williams facility which was perfect. Quiet neighborhood with really nice neighbors. Ideal set up to have our dog with us as well. Loved BuckRoe Beach which was only 10 minutes away. We will be back!

We had a fabulous stay! The house is gorgeous, very cozy, in a prime location, and with absolutely everything you need for a great beach vacation. We thought the house decor makes this house standout, it is delightful, comfortable and very well kept. We very much appreciated all the extras included, like bikes, kayaks, beach chairs, etc. it makes everything so easy and smooth. The backyard was perfect, all fenced in so great for guests with dogs and little kids, and the grounds are very well kept, The host has clearly thought of every detail to make the stay special and very enjoyable! - Christina has left leaflets/maps and other tips about what to do in town, as well as board games and children’s books that made us feel like home! It is a gem of a house in a beautiful beach town! We will be back!

Chris and Charlene were very responsive to everything. We enjoyed our stay. It was in a great location to where we wanted to be close to our friends who have a place down there. Everything was clean. I cannot find the words to express our families stay. When I say this was the best stay at an ABNB we have had thus far it was. The outside itself from the landscaping to the scenery was breathtaking. Checking in was a breeze. Once inside pictures cannot begin to show the beauty of this property. The hosts have really thought through a guest experience. They went over and beyond hosts duties adding extreme attention to details. Anything and everything you may need or want for your stay was there. Even with all the extra amenities and the beauty of the home our family instantly felt at home. We loved our stay so much we have already booked our next stay.

The house was very family and pet friendly, however, if you don’t have either you will still love the spaces. Loved the front porch and all the little extras in every room.

I almost don't want to write this review because this place is THE gem amongst hidden gems that I selfishly want to keep under the radar, but Ian is such a great guy, I feel compelled to help bring attention to his beautiful property. He is also a phenomenal host that will make sure to accommodate whatever your plans are. If you want to be left alone then you will never see or hear from him, but if you need something he will take care of ya immediately. As for the sites, they are absolutely top tier. Super clean, well furnished, and blissfully peaceful. The beach is a quick walk or ride away and even though it's technically not a private beach, it may as well be. Just go stay and you'll only be thinking about planning your next trip back! Thanks again Ian! See you in a few months my friend!

We loved our stay here! The house was perfect and a quick drive to downtown cape Charles and the beach! There are great restaurants in the area! The property is beautiful and so unique! I would definitely recommend!
