Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Capital District, New York

This was a beautiful and well kept home and was a delight to stay in. Natalia was also a lovely and communicative host. We had no issues and would happily stay there again.

This space is so lovely, the hot tub worked perfectly and provided many cozy nights outside. The plants are BEAUTIFULLY tender and bring a loving atmosphere to the space. the linen sheets were so wonderful at the end of the day. we made it up the hill in a Honda insight, but if it were a tiny bit icy I don't think we would have been able to make it. definitely use 4wd if you have it. the hosts were very responsive. if the noise is too much in the bedroom at night (critters, rain,etc.) be sure to use the fan they provide, it helped us a lot :) the kitchen was a delight to use. sharp knives. big, metal surfaces. nice gas stove. big fridge.

Place was great. Will be staying again next time I plan a visit.

We have stayed is many, many rent by owner homes over the years. I would rate this one 10 out of 10 if I could. I’ve never seen some many amenities and little extras before. Everything was so thoughtful. A nice clean, comfortable home with plenty of room and a huge yard in a country setting. Perfect if you have a dog or children. Renters shouldn’t hesitate to choose Turner Ranch.

The house was exactly what is pictured. We have been here a few times and each time we were not disappointed. Could use a couple full size mirrors but other than that the place was immaculate and Cindy is very responsive and accommodating. I would highly recommend staying here.

fantastic host and super helpful whenever we had questions. my wife left her iPad there and they mailed it back. verry appreciative of that. first time using a wood fired sauna- I was skittish at first, but it was a great amenity. hot tub was clean and worked well as well. would definitely recommend if you're eyeing a rustic retreat.

We had a wonderful stay! The place matched and even exceeded our expectations. It looks exactly like the photos. It’s beautifully designed, very cozy, and everything works perfectly. The location is amazing—the house is set on a hill, which gives you a stunning view. The host was very helpful, provided clear instructions, and gave us a lot of great recommendations that made our trip even better. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to come back!

This was our 2nd weeklong stay. The space is clean and bright. Heating details were clearly explained. It was quiet and peaceful but only a 7 minute drive for milk I forgot to bring for coffee. We saw a small bobcat in the front yard on our last morning. Beds were very comfortable. Hosts were friendly and responsive. I’d recommend this place to friends/family and hope to stay again.

We loved our stay at Melanie's -- she was very laid-back and extremely kind and hospitable when we made a mistake and even gave us a gift to enjoy while we were there! (Thanks Melanie!) It was a perfect location for everything in Little Falls! The only thing to be aware of is that the two bedrooms are not separated by a door and the bathroom is right off the kitchen, so if you're traveling with someone who is not family, you can hear everything, and it may be a little too close for comfort. We were two friends traveling together for work, and at first we were unsure about privacy, but we quickly figured out how to make it work and were so grateful for this wonderful stay at an affordable price while we were working in Little Falls!

We has a very relaxed stay at Brian's. Very peaceful. everything we were looking for. Hosts were super friendly, communicated well and very welcoming.

Perfect location for visiting family 4 min away! We were comfortable, slept great and loved this charming place! Lisa has done a fantastic job setting up, decorating and providing a lovely place to stay.

Terrific choice for us and would highly recommend. Stylish, spotlessly clean, charming historic neighborhood, and the host Sean is a great communicator. What more could you want! It is a residential neighborhood with the necessity of moving your car every two hours during the week. We were gone all day so not an issue for us and we always found a spot on the block in the evening. Great value.

We had a short but lovely stay at Monica’s place. The apartment is better than the pictures; so cozy, welcoming, nicely decorated and thoughtfully appointed. We would love to return when we have more time for sightseeing. (We spent most of the weekend at our daughter’s crew regatta.) The location is great for walking to the track or into town. Monica is such a warm, communicative host. Thank you for a great stay!!

The villa is exactly as promised. It’s on a hill overlooking the Hudson with great views and outdoor space. It’s dog friendly with a fenced in yard, a wonderful feature for dogs and people. We were there for a family wedding so did not make full use of the outdoor spaces, but the pool and fire pit are very inviting. The bedrooms were comfortable and we enjoyed lounging in the living room with tv football games. The location is a short walk from downtown Coxsackie for coffee and treats. You should know that access to front door is up about 12 or so steps but there was a railing if anyone has mobility issues. We would return if we were to come back to the area. Lakpa is super responsive.

The AK Lodge was perfect for our multi family, with plenty of room for everyone to hang out. Having private bathrooms in each bedroom was great. Justyna was very responsive and always answered any questions within minutes. We will defiantly be back.

My daughters and I really enjoyed our stay at Jacks place. The house is beautiful, and the surrounding private property is stunning. Nicole was very helpful whenever I had any questions.

We were a group of 4 friends spending the weekend together and Hudson and Sourove's home were the perfect location. The house was a close drive to downtown, and we even walked it one day. The view of the mountains from the front of the house was breathtaking! The house was clean and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was missing a couple basic items (wine opener) but otherwise pretty well stocked. We had an issue with the multi split AC system but Sourove responded immediately and it was resolved within an hour. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you Sourove!

It was very clean, well-stocked in terms of bathroom and kitchen amenities, and had plenty of space for a large group to both spread out and find common areas. Hot tub, games, and large tables with plenty of seating. The host was responsive with any issues or questions we had. Very nice place!

Our stay at Liz’s home was everything we hoped for and more! It was the perfect getaway to a stunningly beautiful, comfortable, and special place. It truly felt like home, and it’s clear Liz put a lot of thought into making the experience great. A stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and cozy feel made relaxation easy. We loved using both the inside and outdoor fireplaces and tvs, and were even treated to a surprise April snowstorm! Perched on a hilltop with amazing views, the location is private, yet just a short ride to town. Highly recommend The Walk In for biscuits and visiting a few of the cute shops! Liz was a wonderful host, and we will be back, for sure!

Alexander’s place is as described and look like the pictures. We stayed for one week end with friends to enjoy one day skiing and it was great! We had some trouble making the sauna and pool work at the beginning but Alexander sent someone to help quickly which was much appreciated 3’ drive from the slopes of Hunter and enough space to comfortably fit 12 people Would definitely recommend for a week end between friends or a big family reunion Thank you!
