Paulette is a wonderful, caring and attentive host and her whole family is so nice and welcoming. The Happy Inn is lovely and very clean and well equipped with everything you might need. I want to go back already!

The place is surrounded by nature and its location is perfect for being away from the city but comfortable to reach all the attractions of the place. They gave us many useful directions to schedule our trip already at the time of booking, and on the spot they gave us additional contacts and suggestions on excursions, restaurants.. They've always been there. For a stay in the north of the Dominican, I definitely recommend this chalet! Thanks

We got in late due to a delayed flight with InterCaribbean airlines, and luckily N.Antoinette was very accommodating to stay in touch with us on the phone to find the cottage location, eventhough it was midnight. The next following days it was lovely to stay in our private cottage, with an amazing view of the mountains and very accommodating kitchen and amenities. N.Antoinette had so many good advises on where to eat and where to go. I recommend this place also since it's very central of the island , the island is one big circle so might as well be in the middle of it.

treetop was a darling location with a spectacular view. we kept the windows and doors open for the breeze and the view, but that does come at a sacrifice- you'll want to spray for bugs if you're going to do this! as long as you are bug-aware it's a lovely experience. we cooked while in the home and ran out of propane but Caso was fast with the new tank and it was easy. lots of great people, food, and snorkeling right in Toucari Bay- if you're visiting on a Saturday you won't want to miss the market in Portsmouth!

The house is very convenient and spacious. Covering two floors, with 2 sitting rooms, and 4 bedrooms, and a nice veranda overlooking the Caribbean Sea. Everything worked well, good WIFI, well equipped kitchen, good Airco's.

Mountain Caapi Cottage is a magical place - everything we had hoped & more. Negotiating the road to the cottage was tricky but manageable in our 4x4 vehicle, and well-placed signs left no doubt about the route. We were immediately welcomed and shown to the cottage, which was cozy, well-equipped, and felt in sync with the natural surroundings. We spent most mornings and evenings out on the "Sunset Deck", which overlooked a lush forested valley, and, as the name implies, offered perfect sunset views. As bird watchers, we were keen on the nesting pair of Yellow-crowned Night Herons and the occasional Red-necked Amazon fly-by, both visible from the deck. During the day, the cottage stayed remarkably cool, and at night, we slept easily amidst the soothing forest sounds. Mountain Caapi is idyllic - especially for nature lovers - but the best part of staying there was the hosts Jessica & Tim, who were friendly, knowledgeable, and made us feel at home. We would return without hesitation!

With the sounds of birds and views of the ocean in a garden location, this felt like having a private paradise. It was the perfect place to return to after a day of exploring. Sherlon was so helpful.. Bruce’s recommendation for Lynn at Bonus Rental and Nigel for touring were perfect. We’ll never forget the cottage or vacation.

We loved our stay at the accomodation… it was clean comfortable and everything we were looking for… We were even blessed by our hosts doing our washing for us for the time we stayed there .. we didn’t expect that so it was a nice gesture for our hosts to do that for us.. we really appreciated it. We loved the location and felt close to all sorts of attractions so that pleased us a lot. We had a parking place too for the car. All together very happy with our stay there .. we would definitely recommend to others.

Wonderful stay. Great location in town and right on the water. Tons of stuff walking distance. The views are incredible. Very luxurious house. Very thoughtful and kind of the host to provide us a bottle of wine. I would recommend staying here. Parking available on the street in front of the house
