Cabin vacation rentals in Carbon County

This air bnb was very cozy and welcoming. The spiral staircase is smaller than we thought and a tight squeeze for adults. I wouldn’t recommend adults staying in the loft due to the stairs but it’s a great spot for teens or younger children. The only other thing that was more of an inconvenience then anything was having to drive to throw our garbage out, however I understand for wildlife. Having another garbage can inside might be helpful to eliminate the amounts of trips needed. Overall it was a fun experience and would book again!

My girlfriends, dogs, and I stayed here this past weekend and I can’t get over how great of an experience we had. Lori & James were extremely responsive and kind (especially given that we accidentally broke a couple things in the cabin). They were so sweet and the cabin and surroundings were just what we needed for a girls weekend away. As young girls we also felt so safe in the area and in James and Lori’s hands lol. We’ll definitely be coming back! Truly cannot say enough good things about our experience at the Frog Pong Cabin :)

This home was exactly what my family and I needed to just rest and relax together. We enjoyed the space in the home and the peacefulness of the area. We saw so many deer and it was the highlight of our trip!

My husband and I booked Marina’s place for our baby moon and Marina did not disappoint! She gave 5 star service from the start. As soon as we booked she was in contact with me to see how she could make our time more special. We booked the romantic package (non-alcoholic version) and she went above and beyond - she got us a cheesecake, s’mores kit, and a little teddy bear for our baby girl :-). She even helped us with finding massages for prenatal and deep tissue! The place itself was immaculate, cozy, comfortable, and had everything we needed to cook and stay at the home without leaving. We used the hot tub everyday (sometimes twice a day). She also gave great recommendations-I definitely recommend going to Pocono Organics for breakfast! Our pup had the best time outside roaming around and cozied up easily inside. The beds were comfortable and she even had coffee and chocolates in the bedroom! We can’t say enough about the service and the place - we’ll be back with our baby girl soon!

The cabin itself is cute and quaint. The waterfront property is so beautiful and very peaceful. James was kind and shared ideas for favorite local spots. We didn't need anything during our stay, but I'm sure we could've contacted James if we had questions or needed anything, as he was kind and helpful in other interactions. Would that I could live there myself! This property is truly a special little slice of the world.

We had such a wonderful stay and our host made us feel like we’ve known them for years. We celebrated my partners 40th birthday and Ketheren left a thoughtful hand written note as well as the sweetest gift. The weather was terrible but, thankfully they had all of the necessary amenities to make our time indoors super cozy and comfortable. We especially loved the deck and hot tub. It was so peaceful and serene being in nature. It felt secluded in the best way. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Beautiful, spacious yet cozy lake home that was a much needed getaway. It really is a 4 season destination! We arrived the day after a snowstorm. The property was shoveled and plowed and the gas fireplace was ready to go, keeping us extra comfortable. In a couple of days the fickle March weather turned mild, the ice on the lake melted and we watched from the screened in back porch as geese swam up and socialized on the back yard! Took many walks and we’re pleased to see how close we were to shopping, hiking and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time at the cabin. Amanda was an excellent host, and the cabin's beauty exceeded even the stunning photos we had seen. It was the perfect escape we needed from the hustle and bustle of city life. The surrounding area was peaceful, allowing us to enjoy the beautiful sounds of nature and observe the wildlife. The property was very clean and equipped with all the amenities needed for a perfect stay. Me and my family look forward to staying again.

Always a pleasure. This is our second time. We are already planning on going for the summer. This time we used the hot tub and it was my favorite part. Even the playground my daughter enjoyed! I love the seesaw!!! :) Juliana is the best host quickly responds and the house is very cute and open and spacious! Walmart is 20 minutes away which is our favorite part! We’ve ordered pizza from around too and wasn’t bad! The fire pit was our favorite too! Get firewood don’t forget extremely worth it! We will be BACK!!!

We had a family gathering and celebrated my husband’s 75th birthday. Loved the hot tub and the comfort of the house. Would definitely recommend and hope to visit again!

We enjoyed a weekend at Wish Upon a Star Lodge for my sister’s “Girls Gone Mild” bachelorette party, and we couldn’t have asked for a better setting. Lisa’s home was beautiful, cozy, perfectly located, and so well-stocked—from the kitchen to the game room to the extra little amenities like coffee and select toiletries. Lisa provided a wonderful list of recommended places to check out, and we were blown away by the town of Jim Thorpe. And finally, Lisa could not have been kinder, more welcoming and more understanding about some last-minute challenges/requests that we had. We look forward to the opportunity to return here in the future! Thank you Lisa!

Eno’s place is spacious for 3 bedrooms easily accommodating 6 adults. Hot tub, fire pit and few backyard games makes it a perfect place for weekend getaway. The kitchen was stocked with most of the utensils and spices. There is community access for tennis courts as well. Overall I really enjoyed staying at this place and would highly recommend others as well!

We had a wonderful time in this beautiful and cozy house. The atmosphere was delightful, and everything was clean, well-prepared, and perfect for celebrating the New Year and relaxing. There was plenty of space, and the house felt very inviting and comfortable. The host was always available, attentive, and ensured we had everything we needed. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, making our stay even more enjoyable. We would happily return to this house again and again and highly recommend it to others!

Ana was a fantastic host. The Cabin Royale is a beautiful, secluded cabin that embraces the surrounding nature of the Poconos. The home is well kept and has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The property is fantastic with a playground, fire pit and tons of activities nearby. We could not have asked for a better experience or more responsive, accommodating host.

Brian and Kylie's cabin is a home away from home. It's warm, comfortable, cozy, and has a great location. The fireplace was a plus for me, as I envisioned sitting in front of a fireplace on Christmas Eve drinking a cup of hot cocoa, and this cabin made my vision reality - set up and all. In the evening, sitting on the porch, it so so quiet and peaceful - a much appreciated vibe when wanting to hibernate solo. Brian and Kylie are the best hosts, I would definitely stay here again, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to Airbnb a cabin in the area!

Ara had a very spacious place tucked in the woods with great privacy but easy access to White Haven and the surrounding area. The house was very clean and well furnished, and all bedrooms were well kept. Ara was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again. The one complaint was that this is the first Airbnb I have stayed at that does not supply towels. This was made into an even bigger problem since the nearest department store with bath towels was 30 minutes away. We ended up picking up the only thing we could find which were tiny thin beach towels from the Rite Aid in town.
