Welcome to our beautiful home, surrounded by greenery and wildlife, where kookaburras laugh and possums play hide and seek. Wake up to birds singing, enjoy a cup of tea around a cozy fireplace in winter, or share stories and baked potatoes around the bonfire outside. Walking distance to nearby shops. Located privately on beautiful acreage amongst a bush setting. Home to koalas, kookaburras, and horses Oliver and George. This private guesthouse features a separate bedroom (queen bed) and a comfy sofa bed in the lounge, ideal solo traveler’s or small families. 30 minutes from Brisbane CBD, 25 minutes from Brisbane International Airport, and 1 hour to the Sunshine Coast. Many local cafes and grocery stores nearby. Just a 4-minute drive to the Eatons Hill Hotel and South Pine Sports Complex.

Just a few minutes drive to the Bruce Highway, North Lakes Westfield (Ikea and Costco) and North Lakes Medical precinct. 20 mins from airport, 40mins to Sunshine Coast, 60mins to Gold Coast. 10 minute walk to the railway station for direct travel to Brisbane City or Redcliffe.

Our property is home to a great many native species, including wallabies and over 100 species of birds. We have no domestic pets. Head into Samford village for a coffee at one of the many iconic coffee shops, or take a stroll through the nearby rainforests of Mt Glorious and Mt Nebo.

Surrounded by natural beauty, with parks and waterways on our doorstep and a 10 min. walk to Shorncliffe train station.

Currawong Cottage is located at picturesque Kobble Creek Cottages. It is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife and wildlife. It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village. There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree cottage.
