'U Fùnnacu 1887 is a three-room apartment on the first floor of an old country house dating back to 1820. It was once a fondaco, in Sicilian "fùnnacu", from the Arabic funduq (accommodation, shelter for carters), in turn deriving from the Greek pàndokos: a place that welcomes everyone.
