L'Hermitage en Occitanie, a farm in Penne

In the Aveyron gorges, in the heart of the southwest countryside, nestles an old renovated barn. You are independent, in a fully equipped house overlooking the castle, the medieval village of Penne and the Aveyron River. In terms of activities, there is something for everyone: cultural visits (Toulouse, Albi classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO), sports activities (canoeing, hiking and mountain biking, climbing, swimming, etc.), participation in local festivities, and simply relaxation!

The Duck Shed, a retreat to explore from.

A pretty colonial style self catering chalet, with a three sided terrace, in the beautiful undulating countryside near Lautrec. The Duck Shed shares the two hectares green space with the main farmhouse, outbuildings and numerous large trees. The building is self sufficient, designed for two people but with a convertible double sofa in the living area. It is clad with beautiful old walnut planks and is a picture of serenity. The decor is simple and characterful, modern with warmth and charm.

You will appreciate its large garden without neighbours, the shade of its oaks, and the local wildlife (birds, squirrels...). The calm of nature will recharge your batteries. Its park, its private beach with direct access to the river offer many activities: swimming (progressive water level), fishing, canoeing (at your disposal). Nearby hiking trails will offer you nice walks.

At Federico and Pierre's: The straw house

Small 27 m2 house, perched among the trees in a quiet setting. To access it, you will need to walk on a path for 200 m up a steep hill. The house includes a living room with sofa bed, kitchen area, bedroom and bathroom with dry toilet. Breakfast not included but we offer homemade meals. Max power is 800W: check your devices before coming. We communicate exclusively via messaging/email, the phone does not get here.

A romantic getaway as well for a cozy evening by the stove in winter or on a sunny terrace in summer. The Medieval village of Salles is a pretty , relaxed and friendly place surrounded by lush woodland and flowery meadows , a delight! Sit out in the sun on the terrace , lounge by the pool or retire to the cool kitchen. All our beds are comfy and our bathrooms luxurious!
