“Our stay at Willow House exceeded our expectations. Brenda and her husband went above and beyond. Brenda greeted us at the house and showed us around, even providing fresh, homemade muffins. There is a nice, fenced-in yard for our pup, which she loved until... she got skunked! We were horrified and worried that we would leave the house smelling awful, but our hosts were very gracious over the phone when we told them what happened. They arrived within 10 minutes with hydrogen peroxide and baking soda for the dog (nowhere close to buy these things at 9pm), and vinegar to boil to rid the house of the smell. They helped make a stressful situation better and put our minds at ease about the house. As for the place itself, it was clean, quiet, and comfortable - and a lot of value for the price! Just what we were looking for!”

“Wonderful experience! Gail and Tom’s Casita is such a cute and comfortable experience! My husband and I traveled to this beautifully rugged area of the old west from Alabama. I’ve wanted to go for many years and we were NOT disappointed! Gails hospitality and attention to details are the BEST! We came in after dark our first day of exploring and the Casita was so easy to find. Self check in worked flawlessly. What a cute setup! Lots of personal touches and very hospitable! Loved staying here and hoping to do it again this summer!”
You’ll love this casita, a relaxing peaceful setting close to many tourist attractions in Southern Colorado and Northern New Mexico. It makes a great base to launch from for Chaco Canyon NM, Mesa Verde National Monument, The Bisti Badlands, Purgatory Ski resort and amazing quality waters fishing on the San Juan River.
“Exquisite cottage and property! Every amenity you need, and such very lovely hosts. Lots of value here. Don’t make the mistake we made of staying only one night. Definitely stay minimum of two nights. Fritz gave us wonderful recommendations of where to eat nearby, and Cindy and their visiting daughter were very gracious to let me interrupt their gardening endeavors & see the baby ducks that had just been brought out. (So adorable!) A charming and God-breathed spot to land and rest on your journey.”
