Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Celano

This was incredible place. Right in the centre of town, close to many restaurants. The apartment was very clean, quiet and the Wi-Fi was excellent. The host was very responsive and had excellent suggestions.

If you want to experience comfortable and modern accommodations in the heart of a crumbling, centuries-old village in one of the less touristed parts of Italy, then this is a perfect location. The apartment is on the lower level, so there is less natural light, but it is clean and full of modern amenities. It is small but easily accommodated two couples. The apartment is a minute or two walk from the local bar. There are not really any shops or restaurants in the village, but a 15 minute walk to the base of the town, down a street lined with tall cypress trees will bring you to the village bakery which also stocks a few other food items. Ofena was significantly damaged in the 2009 earthquake that devastated the nearby city of L’Aquila, so many of the buildings are damaged and a considerable amount of restoration is underway resulting in some areas being closed off and a fair bit of noisy construction when we were there.

We booked for one night due to the proximity to the Ovindoli ski resort (30 min) but, even if for a short time, everything was perfect. Luigi was very helpful and very kind, in addition to allowing us to arrive after midnight, he made us find a gem of a house. Clean, equipped with every comfort, very comfortable bed and breakfast ready for the next morning. What can I say, it felt like home, we'll definitely be back if we need to.

I stayed in this house in L'Aquila recently and was completely satisfied. The location is perfect: it is close to the bus terminal and at the edge of the historic center, making getting around extremely easy. All the amenities described in the listing were present and well-functioning, which made the stay very comfortable. Nearby there is a supermarket and a couple of restaurants, comfortable for those who do not want to go too far to eat or shop. The location of the house is a real strong point: it is located next to the Arch of Porta Bazzano, allowing you to start exploring the old part of the city directly on foot. I highly recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit L'Aquila!

Very nice appartment, well located, comfortable and cosy. Few things to improve would be the bathrooms/showers and a few more cooking pots of small to medium capacity. Apartment was warm throughout the stay and heating working well but would be great to replace the single glazing windows to improve insulation and reduce carbon foot print. Would come back with pleasure for sure.

Due to the flu status of my wife and son we spent most days in the house and not on the ski slopes as we would have liked. However, we had a great time. The apartment is exactly as described, cozy, quiet and clean. The owner was kind and helpful. The location is strategic if you want to go skiing in Campo Felice or Ovindoli. I highly recommend the location if you want to spend quiet days and go skiing. Rocca di Mezzo is a small village that doesn't offer much else. There are restaurants - good - and some shops, but in general it feels like you're out of time...

Luca is a responsive, friendly and gracious host. The house manual he has there is amazing-comprehensive and easy to read, includes information about the house, the area and suggested attractions. The place is spacious, pretty and has all the amenities one could need, including anything necessary for people traveling with small children. The bed is comfortable and there are ample towels. I happened to be there when it was in the mid 90's Fahrenheit, so the lack of air conditioning made the temperatures inside uncomfortable. The lack of A/C is standard in the town, the locals seem used to it and it is only hot in July, but worth noting if one is sensitive to heat, it can be an issue. There was a small issue upon arrival with the hot water, but it was fixed immediately- the host has caretakers who live right across the street. It is a 5 star place with a 5 star host.

Paolo’s place is absolutely beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The home is clean and cozy. We loved our stay with our fur babies. The home had everything you need for a nice stay. Paolo was always responsive, assisted us with everything. We absolutely recommend this place! The views are spectacular! Book it to enjoy the local experiences of Scanno. 🤗🙏

Really nice house, it turned out to be perfect for our group. Very well-kept rustic mountain style, with everything you need to take advantage of the spaces; we enjoyed in particular the garden equipped thanks to the very pleasant temperatures on the days we stayed, beautiful view, privacy and peace. The location is excellent to reach with little effort the many places to visit nearby, from Santo Stefano di Sessanio and Rocca Calascio, to Campo Imperatore, as well as the L'Aquila. Luigi and Antonia are hosts who are attentive to details, super helpful and very quick to respond to every need, they also directed us well for excellent arrosticini, cooked at the barbecue in the garden. STRACONSIGLIATO!

We have spent two fantastic nights in this lovely clean house and enjoyed our stay so much. The views are stunning and the area are wonderful for relaxation with a lot of things to do. Many thanks should go to Mr. Paolo, the owner, who made our stay extremely fantastic with his excellent advices and instructions. You should never leave the area without visiting Forno a legna Orsini ( the best bakery in town) to enjoy the delicious Italian pizza and pastries. Amazing experience

We stayed at Kristina's place for a weekend with friends and it was a wonderful experience. The house is spacious, beautiful, and equipped with everything we needed: absolutely nothing was missing. The view is simply beautiful, it accompanied us at all times of the day making the stay even more special. A special thank you also goes to the neighbors, Luigi and Ivana, very kind and welcoming people who made us feel really welcome. Kristina was super helpful and kind. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely gorgeous house in the heart of Serramonacesca. The whole town is within an easy walk. House itself is gorgeous and kept in brilliant condition. High recommend... can't wait to come back!

Great location for the station. Manuela was very kind and in the house there was everything you could need. The house was then warm to the WiFi, it worked properly.

Stefano’s place was impeccable. Clean, well-stocked, and the location is stellar. It was in the heart of town so we were able to get to everything on foot. He provided us with very clear instructions and helped ensure a smooth check in process! Great stay!

We were delayed arriving but Antonio didn't seem to mind. He met us and showed us all around the apartment. The apartment has beautiful views of the snowcapped mountains with easy access to everything you could need. I would 100% recommend this spotless apartment to everyone.

Delightful apartment A Rocca di Mezzo, 10 minutes from the slopes (specifically Campo Felice, but I also imagine Ovindoli). Wide availability of parking a few steps from the accommodation, very quiet area and warm apartment. Clear and quick host in the provisions. I recommend 10/10

We spent 4 days immersed in tranquility. Alessandra's apartment made our stay even more pleasant, we felt at home. Perfect location, convenient to start beautiful hikes. The house is well-kept, clean and equipped with every comfort, the terrace enjoys a beautiful view and it was magical to be able to enjoy this outdoor space for breakfast, lunches and aperitifs. Alessandra is kind, helpful and accurate. We'll be back!
