Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Champniers

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Casa muito acolhedora. Anfitriã muito querida e preocupada com o bem estar dos Hóspedes. Recomendamos a todos para estadias em família, com amigos ou mesmo com colegas de trabalho como foi o nosso caso.

Très bon séjour dans le logement proposé par Gisèle qui nous a chaleureusement accueillis. L'endroit est au calme et comporte tout le nécessaire pour qu'il n'y ait plus qu'à poser ses valises (linde de maison, produit vaisselle et d'entretien etc). Ce fut un plaisir de séjourner ici !

Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Bernard et Muriel qui sont des hôtes extrêmement gentils et généreux ! La tour se trouve dans un parc magnifique, la chambre est très joliment meublée, elle est claire La véranda est tellement agréable, elle permet de profiter du parc et pour finir, les hôtes nous ont gâtés avec de multiples attentions adorables ! Nous conseillons et recommandons la Tour du Château !! Nous reviendrons.

Logement très calme et agréable. Beaucoup de place et bien aménagé. j'ai passé un long séjour et j'ai apprécié cet endroit tout du long. Florence est très gentille et a l'écoute. Je recommande fortement.

1 nuit passée dans ce studio, entièrement autonome (cuisine, sbd, lave linge) et sur 2 niveaux. Arrivée flexible avec boîte à clé, parfait pour un ou plusieurs jours proche Angoulême.

Een prachtige plek, in een historisch chateau. Bij aankomst wordt je hartelijk ontvangen en rondgeleid. Er is volop rust, een zwembad en sportfaciliteiten op het terrein. Het dorp heeft een winkel, een bakker en een bar met eten en soms live muziek. Het huis heeft een fijne mix van Franse klasse en Engelse gezelligheid, en er zijn fijne buren. Wij hebben met ons gezin een heerlijke week gehad!

Séjour très agréable chez Stéphanie. Le logement est spacieux, bien équipé et très bien placé pour visiter la ville.

Had a wonderful stay, Nick and his wife are great hosts, with a wonderful 15th century building in which we stayed. Easy to walk into confolens, from apartment We hired a car, in which we was able to explore all surrounding areas, also supermarkets within 3 mins drive Great out door space, with seating area, plus garden to explore with chickens Thanks for a pleasant stay and your information on the area Would definitely book again 🙂

Dès le franchissement de la porte , nous rentrons dans un univers raffiné, et atypique. Très bel appartement , décoré avec goût en plein centre du village , tout les services sont à proximité . restaurants " la toscane" au pas de la porte , et un peu plus loin "aux caprices" accueil chaleureux et plats savoureux. Très bon séjour dans cette belle et AUTHENTIQUE maison de famille au charme indéniable. Nous étions 4 adultes et 2 enfants de 3/4ans : les enfants ont adoré jouer dans le bac à sable/terrain de pétanque du jardin et la ferme pédagogique à proximité, nous les adultes nous avons adoré la grande cuisine conviviale et la salle de bain magistrale avec vue sur la campagne. Petit bonus pour la vaisselle : quel plaisir de manger dans de jolies assiettes vintage ! La maison est très ancienne, elle était donc un peu humide à notre arrivée (rien de surprenant vu la saison) mais une fois la cheminée lancée et la maison aérée, tout était normal. Bilan : un séjour campagnard paisible et ressourçant, merci beaucoup Katy 💚

This is a very well equipped villa. The location surrounding was a concern but we slept in late every morning so noise was not an issue. Very secure and not overlooked.

The setting is beautiful, surrounded by vineyards and sunflowers. The local town is 10 mins away, with a market. The property is a lovely old farmhouse, with lots of space and nice furniture, comfortable beds and a refreshing pool. Valerie made us feel very welcomed. A great place to unwind.

Hôte vraiment accueillant rien à dire tout était parfait logement correspond parfaitement au photo et vraiment propre je vous recommande vraiment de passer des week-ends ou vacance chez lui vraiment super vous ne regretterez pas je vous garantie 🙂🙂🙂

We had a great stay at Valerie’s house. Due to ferry delays we didn’t arrive at the house until 10.30pm. Valerie had left the house with lights on and the key in a safe place so we could check ourself in. The house itself is stylish. Interesting pictures on the walls, lovely furniture and amazing choices of colour schemes. It felt like a really good Airbnb experience where you got to experience someone else’s home. Kitchen was really well stocked, beds were comfortable and linen and towels were all fine. The pool was amazing. It was 38-40 degrees whilst we were there and the pool was a saviour. We have 3 x young children 3,5,7 so are always a bit nervous about pools but, for us, this pool was far enough away from the house and it had an alarm. There is no fence though, so something to think about with kids. The layout of the house is 2 x double bedrooms in one section. Then downstairs there is another bedroom that has the mezzanine. It was a great stay, would highly recommend.

Un superbe weekend de Pâques en famille dans une maison paisible. Un endroit au top pour passer une semaine, un mois, un weekend à 12 personnes. Le logement ne manque de rien. Delphine a été très pro active et les instructions sont claires et précises. On a kiffé et on reviendra sûrement. Merci aussi à Cindy pour votre accueil et gentillesse.
