Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Charley Young Beach

We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect house/location. It had all the space and amenities to make it a comfortable stay for our party of 6. We loved waking up every morning and walking over to Kraken Coffee for a delicious cup of coffee and then later walking over to the food trucks at night for an amazing variety of food for dinner. Probably our absolute favorite thing was how conveniently close Foodland grocery store was. We would love to stay there again in the future! Mahalo!

This home is extremely well equipped with everything you may need. Kitchen tools, speaker to play music, beach gear and towels, it's all there. The house has a beautiful garden and it's a quiet neighborhood. Cassie is very responsive and flexible. She gave us some great recommendations in the area. The location of the house is very convenient, centrally located on the island. Beds are comfortable and so is the living room. If we come back to Maui we will stay here again!

We’ve been to Maui four times in the past year, and Peter’s place has been by far the best location and value of all our visits. It’s perfectly situated—just 5–15 minutes from what we feel are the best beaches and snorkeling spots on the island. The location easily beats Kaanapali and Napili. The home is well-kept, in a quiet neighborhood just off the main road, so you get peace and privacy without sacrificing convenience. Peter is a kind and respectful host—he gives you your space but is quick to respond if you need anything. I don’t usually leave long reviews, but after staying at so many Airbnbs, I can confidently say: if you’re heading to Maui, this is the place and location you want. 100% satisfied. Thank you, Peter.

Scott was a helpful and very friendly host. He gave us a ton of tips and guides on what to do in Maui. His place is so close to the beach that it is highly recommended to walk to the beach early in the morning, around 6am, to get the most out of his location. His place was spotless and clean, with no issues. He has all the kitchen items you needed if you wanted to make a quick breakfast before heading out to the road to Hana, or to the national park! He is such a great host and I will be going back to him when I visit Maui again in the near future. As always, please start your mornings early! Around 6/7am the latest, because Maui is incredible during the early mornings. Scott has a ton of recommendations so he will help you with any advice that you need to really make the most out of your Maui trip. 5/5 stars for Scott and for Scott’s Airbnb. Nothing but great things to say about this Airbnb. Clean, safe, comfortable, walkable, convenient, good wifi, air conditioning and fans, it was one of the best airbnbs I’ve stayed at. Friendly and easy to communicate with hosts. I really enjoyed my time here and can’t wait to return soon, thank you!

The property grounds are manicured and gorgeous. The villa itself was spotless with the perfect balcony view for sunsets and our morning coffee. We were fortunate to meet Sandra who is a delight and full of local recommendations. The location is privately tucked away from the busier areas but still close enough to everything you need. The photos and description are accurate. The space was perfect for our small family of 3.

Pamela’s place exceeded our expectations in the best way. It felt like a hidden gem, and honestly, we tried to extend our stay because we were enjoying it so much! Sadly, it was already booked (no surprise), but Pamela was super communicative and kind throughout, and we totally understood. This place has actually inspired us to build our future home with the same layout! Our check-in situation was a bit unique due to some schedule changes on our end, but Pamela went above and beyond to accommodate us. She made the process seamless, and the directions to get to the “Kula Jewel” were spot on—no guesswork needed. Pamela was kind enough to meet us in person and personally show us how to use the hot tub. Although we didn’t get a chance to enjoy the hot tub or pool this time around(amazing ocean and Maui valley views from here too!,) we’re already planning our next staycation and will definitely make the most of them then. Highly recommend for small families who don't mind drives. AMAZING HOST!! But it's not near much. No view of sunrise or sunset. But a couple nice places to walk to, and Road to Hana is right there.

We enjoyed our stay at Ted’s place in Kihei! Everything was a short drive away, including Safeway, Foodland, various restaurants/food trucks as well as our diving launch point for molokini crater. The apartment was generally clean and we appreciated the coin laundry area (pay with an app). We also really liked the beach chairs and beach umbrella that was provided. Made going to the beach so much more comfortable. Thank you Ted for having us!

The space was exceptionally clean and tidy. The location is just a short walk to the beach and close to local restaurants and shops which was very convenient! The space was also well-equipped with all the household necessities, making the stay very comfortable.

We loved our stay! The view is unbeatable and the tiki torches at night add to the ambiance. The place is clean, great location, and had all we needed. Many thanks to John for hosting us!

This place was perfect location! The water is right outside your door, great for listening to waves. the building had great public area with lounge chairs and pool. highly recommend

We had a wonderful time at Lucy and Alan’s condo. The location is perfect - right on the beach. It is so peaceful and tranquil. It’s only a short walk down the beach to the bakery, the ABC store, shave ice place and farmer’s market stall for fresh fruit and smoothies. The complex also has a sandwich store on premises and an activity center we used to rent snorkel gear and book a luau. The pool and hot tub area was great to use after a day of exploring the island. The location is perfect - you can go north to Kaanapali, or south to Wailea both are about 20/30 minutes away. The condo had everything we needed and the central air conditioning was perfect when the days were warmer. There was nothing like hearing the waves crash and watching the canoes float by while eating breakfast every morning. I’m going to think about this trip for a long time. Lucy and Alan’s place made the trip perfect for us. Highly recommend this location for your Maui adventure. We will be back!!!

Amazing Airbnb experience! This is the nicest condo in the complex right on the water on the top floor. Its access to the beach is second to none. The lawn area near the ocean front is really chill compared to a hotel! We appreciated the family atmosphere in the complex. One of the best parts is this Airbnb is walking distance to Ululanie's and Sugar Beach Bake, both amazing places. Definitely will come back again. Thank you for hosting us we really enjoyed this trip :)

Lovely space to make a home base while seeing the islands. Conveniently located next to the beach and a bunch of bars and restaurants.

Ray and Elsa’s place was perfect for our Hawaiian get away! It is a quick walk across the street from a beautiful beach and quick drive to many more. Amenities listed in the condo, including fins, snorkels, water shoes, chairs, and more as well as activity recommendations from the hosts made for an easy adventure filled trip.

The condo was amazing!!! Vanessa was qucik to respond to any inquires. The location to the beach and stores cluldnt have been more convenient. I will be booking this place again in the near future.

This was a FANTASTIC stay!! This place has literally everything you might need for Maui. From cooking to board/card games to beachy fun stuff. Loved the umbrella and chairs, practically saved my shoulders from burning off really. The pillows were fantastic! I got such good sleep, and while I regularly have back problems, I didn’t have any issues during this stay! Definitely recommend this stay!

The condo was true to description. The location, pool, beach, and park access are top notch. We greatly enjoyed the ground level patio right next to the pool. As our family highly covets this location (Kihei), this condo will be on our short list for future visits.

Absolutely amazing place to stay in Kihei. This is a steal. Highly recommend this place. Here’s some of the highlights: 1. Fully stocked Airbnb: -fully stocked kitchen with condiments, basic spices, pots and pans, utensils, dishes, cups, even baking dishes, Toaster and other appliances -food storage boxes, tinfoil etc to packs picnics -beach towels, floatation devices like noodle, 4 beach chairs (!!!!) and an umbrella -a cooler, super helpful to pack food for our road to hana day - tennis racket, pickleball, you name it. 2. Location location location! - 3 minute walk away from your own little beach “charlie young” beach. Super close to Foodland, Kihei food trucks and all cool eating spots in south Maui. Kam beaches within walking distance and so easy to get to all the other parts of Maui! Ideal location to explore the island 3. The balcony is sooo pretty! Beautiful mountains and tropical gardens, and a peak at the blue ocean. We enjoyed sipping our coffee there every morning!

Communication with the host was seamless-they responded quickly and were very helpful. We truly felt at home and would absolutely book again if we're in the area!"

If I could summarize my experience at laurie’s air bnb, it would be nothing short of incredible! Laurie meticulously provided additional items to assure my stay was most convenient. (She provided bug spray!) The place itself was a perfect bungalow for a solo traveler. It accommodates perfect amount of space, while being smack in the middle of downtown Kihei, lastly while being right across street from the beach. I felt very safe and comfortable with the sites security. I would consistently see them roam the grounds assuring public safety. A lot of other guests staying were pleasant and no disturbances experienced. Overall a wonderful stay, I would 110% come back again.
