Monthly Rentals in Chassahowitzka River

Wow! What a great place. This is perhaps the most well-stocked home we have stayed in through Airbnb. The hosts were incredible responsive and have thought of everything. We came for a long weekend of kayaking and viewing wildlife. We were able to kayak right from the house and see many birds, fish, and manatees. The kitchen had everything you need to cook in. Overall, a great place.

A perfect peaceful escape! The cabin was tucked away in a beautiful, serene spot and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Loved the attention to detail and thoughtful touches. Joanne was kind and easy to reach. We’ll be back!

The tranquility of the back deck was incedible. The location was perfect for visiting our friends at Chassahowitzka Campground (1.5 miles away). I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to explore the area, especially the manatees and the three or seven sisters springs. One extra bonus was watching the albino squirrel from the front porch in the morning. We had an issue and were very responsive.

We enjoyed using the Canoe on the Chaz. We were blessed with seeing the Manatees right from day one. On our last day, the dolphins came swimming by towards the campgrounds then back out to the Gulf. The house is very comfortable. We loved to sit out in the screen porch having our coffee in the morning and reading. The one event that was a blast was going to Copps Brewery in Crystal River for Music Bingo. We enjoy Fred George playing at the Shed on Thursdays. Finding music festivals in the area. The best one was south of Brooksville, The Will McLean Fest I like to cook so I brought my own instant pot as that is what I use most of the time. You are close to grocery stores and a Dollar General is great for things I forgot to pack. Enjoyed walking to the campground boat landing is fun to see all the people. By the end of our trip we found the Manatees were hang more up the river by the houses. The Noseam bugs were nasty. I use a thermacell to rid the bugs.
