This basement apartment is well appointed and maximized for comfort. Quality furnishings, including very comfortable queen bed with premium mattress, pillows, and bedding. Great dresser and closet. Space heaters were more than adequate for cold nights. Located in the back of a neighborhood, this was a pleasant and peaceful experience. The stocked Keurig and snacks were nice touches.

Amy was an absolutely fantastic host! She was excellent at responding quickly to questions before arrival and checked in during the stay to make sure everything was working well. The apartment was super clean and really well cared for. Would definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay at this charming little bungalow! The home looked exactly like the photos—no surprises, just as advertised. While some reviews mentioned concerns about the area, we felt completely safe during our stay. It’s an older neighborhood, but that just adds to its character. We were in Martinsville for our son's baseball game, and this place was the perfect home base. Lauren was a fantastic host—very responsive and thoughtful, providing great recommendations for local restaurants and things to do. Thank you, Lauren, for your hospitality!

This home was a perfect spot for my daughter and I for our week in Martinsville. We both work remotely and had no problems with the internet for our work. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of cookware and serving dishes/utensils. The neighborhood is a quiet family area without too much traffic, and downtown Martinsville is just a few minutes drive away. The entire home was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. Michael and Connie were very receptive to our needs and safety. Thank you so much for a good week!
