“My boyfriend, our dog and I had a lovely one night stay in the hut on the hill. Chris very kindly lit the fire ready for us so the hut was cosy when we arrived. The stove kept us nice and warm all night. The location was perfect with just a short walk in to Cheddar town which lots of restaurants, shops and pubs. Chris was very helpful and gave lots of local tips. The hut had everything we needed, the games provided were a lovely touch. Great value for money, I would definitely recommend the hut on the hill.”

“Matt's place is in a great location. We stayed for two nights, close to lots of pubs and restaurants and a short walk to the start of the gorge. Huge comfy bed, very clean flat. Matt was good at communicating and a nice host. Highly recommended if you're planning some walking around the gorge.”
Millstream Dairy is tucked away on a quiet side street with private parking in the heart of bustling Cheddar. Newly renovated, in a modern yet classic style, the Dairy is a welcoming and spacious self contained wing of our family home. It has its own entrance, secure storage for bikes and wet weather gear. A well stocked rustic kitchen adjoins an inviting sitting room with wood burner and a balcony overlooking the garden. This really is a home from home.
“We were two couples, we’re from Australia and our friends are from Scotland. We met up in a camping ground in France through our daughters, 28 years ago and have been friends ever since!! We decided to have a catch up in Cheddar for a few days, as we were here visiting our daughter and new baby granddaughter. We really loved Millstream Dairy and felt very comfortable and at home. The stylish decor, the thoughtful touches, the comfiest beds and quality line and en-suite a, the fire and gorgeous kitchen area made it an absolute pleasure to stay. We appreciated the washing machine and dryer and the lovely relaxing space. The location was perfect for us to show our friends the surrounding areas and the off street parking was very welcome. There were lots of tips and information available for local attractions. Amy was prompt and extremely friendly with all her communication and we will definitely stay again. We didn’t want to leave.”
