Welcome to The Phineas Handerson House, originally built in 1820 by the “the happiest man in town” Able Wilder. This apartment is old school, it features two bedrooms, full kitchen/dining area, and full bathroom. The family room sleeps two on pull out sofa. Guests have a private entrance at the front door and off-street parking behind the building. The outside of the house is older and it needs new paint, as you can see in the picture, the inside is decorated by our drunk Bohemian Grandmother.

Originally built in 1772 with its early American history & charm has been beautifully restored & upgraded with modern finishes & amenities. Dunkins directly across the street for your morning coffee or a 1/4 mile for some fine dining @ Papagallos Italian Restaurant. The Ramsdell Suite @ The Large House is a great place to use as your launch pad for the Keene area & greater Monadnock Region!

Swiss Chalet Family Retreat!

Welcome to our family's Swiss style chalet! Inspired by trips to Davos, Switzerland, my grandparents built the chalet in the 1950s to be a family playhouse and gathering spot for their 6 children. It's kind of magical. Today, our large extended family still enjoys holiday celebrations here every year. Our kids love exploring the woodland trails and swimming in Center Pond. We hope you love it as much as we do! Note: the building also has two apartments on the first floor.
