Our stay at the Magic Lake house was wonderful. There is plenty of room, it is very well stocked with games, books, toys, and yard games, and the lake was beautiful to kayak. We enjoyed cooking out, sitting by the fire pit in the evenings, and hanging out on the deck. Such a great place to visit with family. Hannah and Dave were very timely in sending information and answering any questions we had. We would definitely stay there again!

Grreat little house for our family of three. Well-insulated and comfortable. Cozy and felt like home. Plenty of amenities to make us feel at home. Situated in the middle of a few different ski places. Neighborhood feels safe. The place was clean and the owner was responsive .

This is a great affordable place to stay with a large group close to Okemo. It took us about 40 minutes to get to the mountain. The house is more spacious than it seems and it had everything we needed. There isn't much to do in the surrounding community, but if you have a car then it's a great place to stay close enough to the ski resort without the price of staying on the mountain. We would stay here again.

You walk into Eric’s place and it feels like a home thoughtfully set up so that you can just walk in and be comfortable. It’s an “and, breathe” kind of relaxing, homey place. Eric was super responsive to any & all questions we had. We absolutely loved our time there and look forward to rebooking in the future!

More than spacious accommodations for our big family! Everything was very comfortable and cozy. The details and aesthetics around the house were emasculate and adorable! 2 minute drive from cute town with adorable grocery store and chocolate/tea place and bigger full size grocery store only 5 minutes away. Kitchen has everything you need to cook!

We had a lovely time at this place, it’s a bit small but we’ll appointed and you can’t beat the location, right on the river! The views out the back were incredible every day. This didn’t impact us but be aware the upstairs loft area is probably better for children and a tall adult would feel pretty cramped up there. As a rather short crew my family had no problems 😂. Would definitely stay again.

I’m grateful that Peggy and Harry were willing to rent to us at the last minute. Our family needed a quiet respite to be together during a difficult time of loss. The solitude of the lake and woods was calming and we had plenty of room to be together. I only wish we could have stayed longer!

I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lakehouse !The home is cozy and well-kept, with stunning big windows overlooking the lake. Even though it was winter and we couldn’t fully take in the view, I can only imagine how breathtaking it must be in the summer. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions I had, making the stay even more enjoyable. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months to experience the lake in all its glory! Highly recommend this spot for a peaceful getaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Jon‘s place. The surroundings are very peaceful and we loved spending time in the hot tub and enjoy the view. The living room is huge and the entertainment options were great for the weekend. Jon was very responsive and helped us with our questions. Two things I noticed: The layout of the house is a little interesting with three out of four bedrooms connected, but it worked for us. And the upstairs bedrooms don’t have blinds or curtains, so it was bright quite early. But I would stay here again and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing weekend.

We had a great stay in Keene. Ruth is a fantastic hostess. Her house is just close enough to Main Street to keep it a walkable distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. The house is a nice cozy spot that was big to accommodate my whole family meeting up for a fun winter weekend in Keene. I would stay there again without hesitation

We had a very relaxing stay. Plenty of space to stretch out. Located within 10-15 min. of Keene State activities, the purpose of our trip. Bryan was a wonderful host. Very responsive. Instructions were clear, directions very helpful. Everything we needed!!

Very cozy cabin with lots of land to run around outside and plenty of nearby trails for hiking. The inside was beautiful and had everything we needed. Andrea was very quick to respond as well. I would definitely stay here again!

Barbara, was an amazing host. Her house is absolutley beautiful. Amazing kitchen, that is perfect, for so many occasions. Very kid frinedly, our family loved staying here, would highly reccomend. Quick to reapond and gives tips and reminders or important information as to where things are 😊

Just as I remembered it from 40+ years ago. Look forward to staying again next year.

Beautifully renovated home in a peaceful and serene location that was perfect for my family of four and my MIL with mobility challenges thanks to a first floor bedroom and bathroom with walk in shower. We didn’t need the kitchen for cooking but it had all needed and necessary items if we had wanted to. The entire home was comfortable and cozy - the radiant flooring throughout the house and in the entryway mudroom was amazing. We also didn’t need to use the washer and dryer while we were there, but it was nice to know it was available if needed. In general, most of the rooms were much larger than what you see in the photos - especially the kitchen and dining areas. The table and island with stools allowed my kids to spread out and do school work using the home’s WiFi (no challenges at all with speed or access). Emily was easy to communicate with and quick to respond, which I appreciated. Family loved the location and we’ll add it to the list for return trips to the area.

We loved staying at the lake house! It was so lunch a beautiful setting; Rob and Pam were incredibly friendly and responsive. The house was cozy and fantastic, ready to go for us, and nice and clean. Lots provided- beach towels, fishing rods, local maple syrup & smores supplies. We had a magical cozy fall weekend, Would 100% stay again, and hope to!

Raymond wss a great host. He was very responsive and helpful! The A Frame is lovely and the campsite is well stocked with thoughtful necessities. It was a really peaceful weekend away!

Interesting place. Very quiet, little traffic noise, in a rural mostly forested area off a main highway. Non-traditional home, lots of large windows, fronts a very slow-moving meandering river, very tranquil. Solid build, wood interior, tall ceilings (except for 2 BRs). Long sets of stairs to reach 3rd floor BR, 2nd floor (BR, kitchen w fridge, MW, gas stove, bath w tub). 1st floor has BR, bath w shower, LR w fridge, MW. Large deck off LR. Many rooms have string lights set up to add a festive look. Depending on when & how long your stay is you may see a lot of different waterfowl & large birds (eagles/hawks). Re non-avian wildlife, you may not see that much of them bc if they have sustainable habitat, they stay in it rather than encroach upon human habitation. Host prefers to greet/show you around. The stairs &/or outside grounds may be problematic for those w mobility issues or have young kids. If you're a bit adaptable, want to try something different, this place may be ideal!

Great stay last minute, very quick response from the host. We booked at 2:30 on the day of arrival. Easy to find, pictures are spot on. Great location very private but close to everything we wanted. Very well laid out 2 spacious bedrooms. Comfortable bed and linens. Two full baths one up with the bedrooms and one on first floor. Upstairs shower was a little tight but worked great, downstairs has more room. First floor living area great space and would be great for a dinner. We ate out but would have invited friends over for cards or games. We would definitely do a return trip! Thank you Michele!
