A small rural village, Izaka Village, in the middle of Nagano Prefecture. I moved from Tokyo a few years ago to start a private lodging using independent separation from the main house. We will rent one building for one group per night. Pets are welcome. Meals are not provided, but cooking utensils are provided in the internal kitchen, so please bring only the ingredients and feel free to use them. There is a shower, but no hot tub. In addition, during the winter months from December to March, the shower room is closed for anti-freezing measures for the prevention of freezing. Please use the neighborhood hot spring facility. There are no toothbrushes, shaving, etc., so please bring your own bring your own. WiFi and parking is available. The main house next door is an old house built about 150 years ago.We are a couple renovated little by little. It's like baking something and drinking something in the hearth! We can also experience the old house, so please don't hesitate to contact us. We have two dogs and a cat team. If you are allergic, please be careful. The toilet is a hand-made flush toilet and composting toilet. On the premises, we don't use synthetic detergents, deodorants, or insecticides, etc.

It is easy to go towards Nagano. Mt. Nagamine, abandoned lines, Daio wasabi, swaths, etc. are close by. Please enjoy Azumino sightseeing There is a "Maekawa" flowing right in front of you, such as canoeing, rafting, sap, etc. There is a "Longmenbuchi Canoe Stadium" and you can walk there, so it is also a great place to practice. Old Meisho Town is a local town, not a downtown area. The neighborhood is not downtown, so there is nothing. Recommended for those who are interested in living in the countryside and relocating to two areas, or those who are considering it.

A medicinal herb retreat and tiny house nestled in the rich nature of Shinshu. You can freely use more than 80 kinds of medicinal herbs to heal your mind and body with herbal tea and herbal baths. In the living room with a wood stove, you can read or have tea while being wrapped in the warmth of the flame. The garden has a fire pit and pizza oven, so you can enjoy a bonfire and homemade pizza. We are an American-Japanese couple that are happy to share our onsen town Togura-Kamiyamada with visitors curious about the Japanese countryside. “Maison d’hotes KIRISI MIZU”, is a Irimoya style (traditional Japanese house, similar to Temple) that has been beautifully restored from traditional materials and passed down from my grate-grand parents generation. The entire house is done in a classic style as used to be, except for a newly built kitchen, toilet and bathroom that provide all the necessities of modern life.
