Vacation rentals with lake access in Chimaltenango Department

This is a very unique stay a chance to fulfill your dream of being a farmer and escape reality for a few days! Great break from the busy city life. When you’re bored, you can hang out with the animals, feed the pigs, go to the garden and grab some fresh herbs for dinner and more. Late night you can sit cozy by the fireplace and just unwind. Very romantic for couples and also great for families looking to bond. Staff are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at this spacious lake house perched on a cliff with breathtaking views of Lake Atitlán. The home features a pool and a jacuzzi. Access involves navigating narrow, cliffside roads through small villages—perfect for adventurous travelers. The house spans three levels: the entry floor includes a small bedroom, a master bedroom, an outdoor bedroom, and a pool table room. One level down are three more bedrooms. The lowest level features a spacious kitchen, dining and living areas, and a large deck to enjoy the view. A well-kept path leads to the lake’s edge, where we were picked up by boat for a scenic ride to San Juan La Laguna. We opted not to drive to Panajachel at night due to the narrow roads. While it could use a few touch-ups, overall everything was good . We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend this place .

We had a fantastic stay at the property . The scenery and setting of this property is just serene . We were a group of 10 with adults and kids . The kids loved the place so much that they refused to even leave the property . Had a very restful 3 days of Christmas . We stayed over the Christmas break and walked to a nearby local church for the midnight service . Don Miguel ,,George and Theresa ( the helpers on the property ) were always available and very helpful . I wanted to leave a word of appreciation for Sylvia . She is super helpful and very responsive . Was always available to answer questions and provide a lot of helpful recommendations . By far the best Airbnb host that I have interacted with . Overall a wonderful experience

Excelente lugar para descansar, con una vista espectacular. EXPERIENCIA: Al llegar a la ubicación hay que subir unas gradas para entrar al apartamento, unas 45 gradas en un callejoncito por lo que no aconsejaría llevar a alguien con problemas de movilidad, el lugar vale mucho la pena, hay tiendas de barrio y un restaurante cerca, el apartamento es super limpio y ordenado, cuenta con todo tipo de amenidades, sala de estar, churrasquera, fogata, sartenes, estufa, microondas, refri, agua pura, televisión, camas limpias, sábanas, toallas, sanitarios y duchas super limpios, comedor, todo 10/10. VIAJE: Recomiendo viajar hasta Panajachel y de allí buscar la ubicación, esta a unos 20 minutos, recomiendo hacer super en Panajachel. ANFITRION: Estupenda atención, siempre respondió y estuvo pendiente de nuestra llegada y salida. Definitivamente volveremos, felicidades al anfitrión por su atención y tener impecable el apartamento, saludos.

His hospitality was above and beyond, offering helpful recommendations, answering any questions we had, and making sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The house itself was gorgeous, well-maintained, and had everything we needed. Adolfo's kindness and attentiveness really made our family’s trip memorable, and we are so grateful for his help. Que si lo recomiendo?! X1000! Lugar precioso, con una vista impresionante. La vista de día es hermoso y de noche ni se diga... El lugar tiene todo lo necesario para cocinar y poder descansar…cumple con todo lo que ofrece. Andres súper atento a todas las consultas hechas, recomendó restaurantes y lugares para conseguir tours en la zona. Definitivamente volvería.
